I didn't say I approve of it, all I said was that its surprising it took this long. Vans has always been about money more than they are about being "core". Supra on the other hand is a smaller, skater owned entity so it was a bit more of a surprise/let down to see them hocking lil wayne's shit.

I'm not really a fan of OF, at all. So... Odd Future hate aside, the black/gum and blue/gum models look so great. I'm almost drooling over the black/gum model.
Plus, if you really did buy this shoe, your jeans will cover up the writing on the heel.

Regardless of how you feel about OF, Vans is driving customers to small legitimate skateboard shops in search of shoes to purchase.
They're not available at Vans stores,zumiez or anywhere else(for now).
The VF corp does indeed suck, but Vans does a lot of awesome things for skateboarding. They're at least taking that money and doing things with it.
They are indeed old skool pro's.
