^^ this guy is a bozo. no one equates a swastika with Buddhism or anything other than hatred and bigotry. National Socialism/Fascism ruined the hermetic and mystic meaning of it. Gotta let go of the “Actually the swastika is a Buddhist symbol of peace” bullshit. The symbol has been usurped and it will remain that way.
It's great you can embrace different parts of history and totally repress others. Saying the symbol is not a Buddhist is completely dumb. I never said anything about peace so please don't put words in my mouth. It makes you look like a jackass. If you think that's a good look. Cringe. Swastikas found all over the world throughout different cultures thousands of year before Hitler was even a thought. I digress. I don't like arguing with a person that sounds like they want to argue. Don't kook out goofball.
I never said it wasn’t Buddhist originally, I said it was usurped by Nazism and that it is a safe assumption that if you ask anybody what they think of when they see a swastika, it is a safe bet that all of them would relate it to the third reich.
As for cringing at me putting words in your mouth, I was relaying what is incredibly common rhetoric amongst defenders trying to reclaim it.
I am sorry to disturb your vril energy but the earliest uses of the swastika dates back to the Neolithic era, about 3500 years before Buddha.
