That's such a fucked up movie. That scene where Rickki slices that guys face with a wood plane and that bit where he chucks the warden into the industrial mincer.

Some of Peter Jackson's earlier "splatter" films are worth watching. The bit in "Bad Taste" where the alien shoots shit up with a real AK47. Back in the day, He couldn't afford a prop AK so the guy uses a real one instead. "Meet The Feebles" is pretty good, one scene in the extra's where the puppets do lines of coke and start raping and shooting each other. Also ending of The Scarface was pretty cool.

Pulp Ficiton - when Vincent shoots Marvin in the face, the behind angle when the blood splatters on the back window of the car. that scene is good.

I've worked in morgues and hospitals for over 10years now and I thought nothing on screen could ever shock or make me cringe. Recently I've come across two exceptions:
1) The "insect" scene in the Peter Jackson remake of King Kong. Truly creepy.
2) That reality show on CNN called something like "Bagdad ER" or "Bagdad Trauma Hospital".
I see amputations and disfigurations on a daily basis but never in such a context: a blue-blooded twit's vanity project. I could only watch that show once and it was because it was the only english channel in a spanish hotel.

im glad somebody else on this board saw this movie..

...seriously one of the most "what the fuck" films i've ever seen. I should've watched it again while Crispin Glover was in town. It's one of those films you absolutely posatively have to see more than once to fully comprehend what the hell is going on. Too bad it's never gonna be released on DVD.

Crispin is premiering the sequel "It Is Fine! Everything is Fine!" at Sundance later this month...
