So I know my threads are sometimes make with comedy or jokes in mind but I do always stand behind the point I am making. This post is no joke it is real and feel free to discuss.
This is only Boston area and only people that are still talked about and still try and skate and film all ages I list the new and the old in no order
The Worst Skaters
1. All the Wisdom Bro. They have bad style and are spoiled brats.
2. Ariel Pearl. He is a has been and a crack head
3. Matt Tomasello. He is over rated and does clown tricks
4. Orange Abe. Nice guy but he just plain sucks ass
5. Panama Dab. Has been and no one cares

Ok now the Best in no order.
1. Jason Ross. The kid is the next big thing
2. Steve Mull. He is going to be better than his brother just give him one more year.
3. Legs. He is the most tech good skater I've seen in my life other than old colliseum days even that he is way past his prime
4. Dillon Bus. Been watching videos of this kid. Best style and creative too
5. No one else, Matt you could be on here if you filmed more and stoped doing clown truck but still stayed creTive I feel bad for you because you will be older one day and look back and cry

ha, i see arial at subliminal sometimes and although i've never talked to him he's the star of one of my favorite urban legends.
i'm out the loop about new people but Big is prolly my favorite boston skater then obviously all the big name guys who are legit great skaters like zered.
broderick was my favorite boston skater in the 90s even though he was from UMASS at the time. demall was about the only friendly local.
lee burman is one person that nobody in worcester likes. i like that matt lane kid for being husky and ollieing UP the giant 5 or 6. mike graham irked me for being a wigger and once he shaved off his eyebrows cause 'everyone's wearing a mask'. heh, then he started prank calling nate keegan vigorously.
panama dan was awesome but i heard he's a sketchball.

One time I was skating this spot in Somerville with a few friends.  Unbeknownst to us Ariel had apparently moved into some apartment across the street so obviously the sound of our boards brought him out into the sunlight.  10 minutes of shooting the shit everyones had enough so we decide to leave.  Now the car was parked right next to where we were standing, so as soon as my friend pulls the lets bounce card, Ariel calls shotgun and jumps in the car. A few words were had and I swear he was ready to scrap over the fucking front seat of a ride he wasn't even invited on.  We brought him to copley, let him get out and then we just took off.

heh, sounds like a good enough reason not to like him. the younger kids out here vouch for him [late 20s, early 30s] but what you said kinda cancels that out.
i spit on richie bonnevie once cause he housed shotgun from me and gloated about it. he was too young for me to sock is why i did it, he just turned 30 the other day but at one time he was maybe 15 to my 23.
not a boston skater but tim powers who usedta run TRUE EAST is rad. i'm forever indebted to him cause he taught me wallrides and once i got broken up w/ by my wife at yellowstone so i drank my way to detroit and back here. i'm talking shit to some scenester fucks at the bar and when i get back from the bathroom my skate has been stolen!
the friend of the thieves is still there and i ain't seen tim in yrs, right? i tell him what happened w/ my ex, the stolen skateboard, my whole life is shit and he starts choking the remaining scenester kid.
'nah, tim! i would do that if he was culpable.'
so he peels off $90 and hands it to me 'cool, i got the next round.'
'no. it's for a skateboard.'
'word, appreciate ya tim!'
haven't seen him since but i heard he returned to Vincent's and punked the guilty parties and got his money back.

Abes skating is awesome to watch in person. Gets to the spot hops on the board and just starts ripping. kid is like a pinball in a skate park. Never stops. Never slows down. Just hits everything.

Yeah, if this really is Southie, then this is highly disappointing, because Southie has always struck me as a nice mellow dude in real-life interactions... whereas this internet persona we have here is the biggest rudest dipstick

This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

Never.

That's some straight east coast shit. Nobody in LA is from there thus no provincial mindset. Unless you clicked up with 18th street or what have you.

On that note can the mods start a sub board and finally give boston what it finally wants which it's own section of the board where they can discuss all things boston while the rest of the world can converse about non boston related topics.

Idk where you live but I live in LA so I'm speaking from experience here, about 80% of the people I skate/hangout with are natives so I don't really know what to tell you.

i was born and raised in pomona and spent the first 24 years of my life there. when you say native do you mean to america, to mexico perhaps, to california or the southern california region? out of the very small sample size of people you happen to philander with i guarantee you that number is even smaller than you are projecting. people move their from the surrounding regions to be apart of the big city living. i would even wager you arent from LA. probably whittier or something whack like that. maybe even worse: riverside.

The funny thing is, I'm from fucking Boston of all places but I hated it so much I got out as soon as I could.  The natives I speak of are from the Southern California region.  If I really have to break down group of people I divide my time with, I'd say more than half are from the westside of LA and most of the others are from the San Fernando Valley.

Oh and Riverside motherfucker!
