Picked up a pair of the Puig's as well. That cupsole just looks too good to pass up. I really like the 'A' shape on the heel, makes the shoe look very distinctive and recognizable in a sea of tech cupsole skate shoes
[close]

My friend said the heel looks like a Tensor logo somehow and now I cannot un see it haha. But I love this shoe ESPECIALLY in this colour way. Love footy of Chocolate Carl skating them (and adidas in general. I’m glad he’s on the team)

Anyway, I picked up this Krooked/Adidas mesh long sleeve top for the low on Depop. So breathable.

You were actually the inspiration for me to get these holmes! I already had a few pairs of white shoes but they are suede and either a cream or bone shade of white, not optic white. I've seen your posts and the consistently white leather shoes popping up in your pics made me think to myself 'I need something in white leather'. Lo and behold these Puigs were only $58 on skateparkoftampa.com, bada bing bada boom I got some French flag sneakers now

Hell yeah!!! That made my day. White leatherys are the move. Easy clean too. So hyped your hyped

Sorry giant pic

Mason deck isn't new, it's been on ice, thunders in pic are old (might use some 144 indy ti tho, haven't decided).

The new shit is, Bone V5 99as and med bushings+
Nike NBD grip on top
Black Magic Ablack5 on bottom

The Nike grip feels pretty grippy to my hands, it's chunky and it feels like there is more space between the grit compared to say, the blackmagic which is small grit and tightly packed. The Nike grip is also light as fuck even on the paper compare to any grip I've felt before, it's also pretty floopy/easily rolled (but not ripped). Yes, it really looks that salt and peppery. Going to set it up tonight.

Note: FWIW and seems odd to me, but the bones bottoms are the same fucking height as thunder bottoms...I've always thought they were shorter...I know that 'someone at DLX' 8 million years ago said the two aren't compatible but I'm going to give them another go...
you’re gonna love that Mason board. best shape i’ve personally ever ridden.

Set one of these boards up recently. It’s fun and I can feel the weight difference when it comes to feeling tired.

I will say the board feels very flexy like a long board.
Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.

Bought a local shop deck for them to do a giveaway.

First person to bring them a pizza gets a deck.

That way someone (kid/teen, hopefully) can get a swoop up a deck for the cost of a pizza and the shop employees can get fed at the same time.

Pass the blessings, right?

Got these black leather Gazelle ADVs on sale.  Currently skating white leather Busenitz’s.  I guess I’m on a leather Adidas kick recently.

It's my favorite short wheelbase (and DLX) shape; sadly(?) I skate better on longer wheelbases ;)

Fucking Skate Warehouse clearance bullshit sale got me good; I don't have any 8.3s on hand + it has a 14.3WB

$45 - 8.38 Uma Chapman+ free MOB

149 royals because new hotness (hopefully)

$38 - Channeling my inner pimp (chillers)

$21 - 52mm Bones V5 - seriously the best slappy wheel I've come across, especially for krooks (you get that easy roll on rounded edge + straight edge lock-in) - been riding rounded OJs and been sliding out, swapped back to some worn down V5s and the difference is crazy.

They're not.

Probably a select few pro models (Jeron Wilson BLM and maybe Chris Roberts Twin Tail) but the rest of the boards are still done in China from what I recall

Unless they switched to PStix after the proff called out the Crob's crail twin proto not being symmetrical on the 9club, they'd still be made in china.

New Balance 272’s and Real’s 8.28 shape (Harry Lintell pro model). the new balances have a wider toe box than I usually am used to and let me tell you it is a breath of fresh air. my toes aren’t so scrunched up together anymore as compared to vans. my feet don’t hurt at all during the sesh, even my toes.

the real 8.28 shape is my favorite shape that i’ve ever ridden. its my 4th time trying this 8.28 out and i love it.

I just bought those 272s last night to put on ice (my size seemed to be selling out around the web so I bit as I had a code for The Drop), I'm still skating some 255s (which I got for the wide toebox). Glad I opt'd for the Didal colorway (fire), they look great in a 'real' user pic...I saw a few that make them look very green.

The 8.28 is killer.
