I’m not sure whether to skate the deck or hang it. Dennis McNett graphics never disappoint.

Got 8 Welcome Boards for ~20euro each in a mad sale at titus.de
I think they f*ed up the pricing, because when I looked 1h later they were at 60euro each.
Still got them. Got some nice racks as well and now they are future stash and decoration.
The top one in the middle stack is a mock up for a lamp i am gonna build and put there.

I’m usually pretty into decks being skated, but this would probably be an exception tbh. One of the sickest graphics I’ve seen in a while.
that would be crazy if your skin was made of hammers.

One of my local shops is closing so grabbed these on sale. Plus the Britannia Courts X Bones wheels were too hard to pass up.

I love these trucks.  I can’t wait until I axle my hangers so I can put a set on that don’t have the stupid Koston logo on them…

Indy axle rethreader, has a guide so it makes sure to rethread it straight on

Some kind of adhesive suede patches that might work

i've been loving this graphic/shape lately. i was always a bit scared of the pointy nose in the past but it seems to work super well for me. didn't realize how much i'd like a flatter board as well.

baker boards are probably the most expensive boards you can some across in canada at the moment (save for dbx/flight etc.) and my latest one came out to $145 after tax. they threw in a baker 3 sticker, which i am pretty fired up on.

I seem to remember someone saying these were BBS... They have the 8.25 x14.25 too

Won't be as pointy, but if they are in fact BBS, might be a good deal for ya vs paying 145 for the baker ones

ACE AF1 55 Low & Bones 103 V3 52mm

From the shop that got me into skating in '98!

How are the Aces? If they’re that wide and low, are you mostly using them for tech skating?

oh man, thanks for the heads up on those.

i don't really mind paying that much for a deck as i get a few months of use out of them, was kinda just tripping that boards have gotten that high in price in such a short span of time. i think the last baker's i got were in 2020 and under $100 with tax.

imo skating is still an insanely cheap hobby, and i am blessed to be in a position financially where i can afford to support brands/shops/people that i like.

Got a new deck and the skate shop was giving out free crew necks or hoodies so I got the crew neck. Not something I’d normally purchase but I’m not complaining.
quit beers. picked up a board. now I damage the outside of my body

Trying out these "stick and flick" patches

Trim-to-fit adhesive backed suede

Can't hurt to have an extra layer here

Curious to see how the adhesive holds up

Found that cw and the Knox high on Pivot:

If you're a size 8 and want then for 30€ is pretty solid. Shipping usually is like 12€

That’s a good question, I’m not sure I’ll find out. It’s WAY bigger and heavier in person, I’m not even sure it will fit in my trunk.

After watching the video of Simon Bannerot “skating” it, I sort of decided if that’s all he’s getting, I probably wouldn’t even be able to push around on it very successfully.

I’ve been a fan of all the wild grimple one off shapes and so I’ve tried to grab them when I’ve seen them. This’ll be a part of that collection for now
