picked up the SB AF-1 easily at my local and also picked up a shop hoodie, hat, flannel, Dime x QS shirt, and a water bottle.

also picked up a Dime sweater and beanie from them last month, been nice to spend money locally again instead of online shopping :)

Between 5 blanks and 5 sheets of grip at $225 total, or 1 flight deck with grip at $130....

I ended up choosing the flight deck - got another one of the twin tail 8.3s with 14" wb. The value is there for me especially at a smooth skatepark where I'm not getting razor tail. I found my acetone so blanking this one should be easy

Also snagged a like-new set of F4 classics 53mm 99a on eBay for $20

Vans slip on skate. I’m not a huge Vans fan and have never had slip ons but decided to give them a shot for the summer as a chiller. Way more comfortable than i expected. The popcush insole is really doing a lot of heavy lifting in these. Probably the most comfortable vulc I’ve worn out of the box in years. I’m sure once the insole breaks down I’ll shit all over them but for now I’m digging them while also not having my feet over heat.

I swear they changed them up within the last year because those shoes used to absolutely kill my feet out of the box for at least the first few days of wearing them around. Great shoe if you like the minimalist look/feel but lord help you if you catch an axle or side of the board to the toe or heel.

Some new/sealed 43mm spitfire F4 "lil beatdowns"

When I get some more extra money I'm gonna scoop some Indy stage 7 136s and a reissue 1993 or smaller '92 deck

It'll be fun to have around and let kids at the park try

Still on the hunt for stage 5, 6 or 7 159s for the Video Days setup

I couldn't even get my feet in the skate slip ons. At least without removing the insoles. The shallowness of the upper to the insole is unhuman. Like I guess the average feet are wafer thin top to bottom.

Cheers - I haven’t had colored wheels since the teenage years. My next few setups are gonna be woodgrained boards and nearly axled Ventures which here’s hoping will chill the kook points/being confused for one-of-those old guys at the park

Bought some 55 mm f4 classics from the local today. I probably didn’t need new wheels but my kids were being a pain the ass touching everything in the store so I felt like I needed to buy something.

Is the WB on this actually 14.68? That was all I could find listed online, most places listed just the width.

So hyped to try the new 93d Ishod Lock-in/classics. Loved the 99d version of them but I got so used to the classic soft sliders over the last year and a half that I couldn't ride them for more than a session.

Noice!

Just re-measured WB and it is just tiny bit under 14.75 so 14.68 seems reasonable if you care about 1/16" of an inch. Giant tails on this thing. 6 7/8" I think.
