They did this last year too in what seemed to be a response from Berra being butthurt that his DC buddy Nyjah didn't win SOTY. It completely backfired and Brazilians went crazy voting for Luan and he won. Aussies came close to winning with Nugget. Shit's dumb.

The lists both years have been a joke and the write ups are cringe worthy. First, no CK1 or Worrest on the list is a joke. I love Daewon, but if you didn't put out a full part this year (i know he had the tranny part in the berrics contest) you should be eligible for skater of the year, same applies to Nyjah. Unless you put out constant footage or a mind blowing part, no one cares which contest you won or participated in. Thrasher got it right this year and probably last year too (even though legitimate claim can be made for Westgate or Suciu).

I'm sure the park when Koston was constantly entering contests and even now as a pro skater still getting footage he can write it off as a business expense. The website for sure has to be paying taxes or Berra's gonna owe a shitload of money when they finally catch up to him.
