The same?

A bit of the same w/a few athletic forward looking models.
I think I read somewhere that the quality was significantly lower compared to dylan days. Not sure if that's true though.

The quality is still there. Had some suede slymz. However, the cordway collective models have shitter insoles than the pu ones. The herringbone sole is still durable af. I wish they'd re-release the slip on without dylans name attached to it. They already sell a laced version of the dylan ballet shoe. Just needs a vulc sole and an extra row of stitching on the toe.

I bought a pair of the Filter duros (a shoe that i've skated 5~ times before) when I was in Osaka and the quality was the same. They cut the TTL filters though, and the rest of the line is pure ass.

Gravis was big in Japan before.  They are probably a permanent fixture now.

The Kona's and the Tarmac's look a little closer to the kinds of shoes Gravis originally made. If you see their ads and shoes from, like, twelve years ago you see how much they changed when Arto and Dylan and the others came around.

I wish I were anywhere near Japan right now 'cause those Lowdown's are filling the eS SLB sized hole in my heart.

Friggin' Billabong.

Truth. Gravis was a much different company before they started manufacturing skate shoes and sponsoring a team. IIRC most of the models back then were still pretty fashion forward though, no wonder they became known for that type of aesthetic.

That regatta model is also an old Dylan model. Great shoe!

Yup, back in 2000 - 2001 their shoes were cringe worthy from an aesthetic point of view. They owe all their popularity to dylan imo.
They still have a skate team over here but I doubt they'll be coming out with anything new design wise, I'm guessing that they'll just run with/ rehash the same filters/ filter duro design.

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year
