The Kona's and the Tarmac's look a little closer to the kinds of shoes Gravis originally made. Truth. Gravis was a much different company before they started manufacturing skate shoes and sponsoring a team. IIRC most of the models back then were still pretty fashion forward though, no wonder they became known for that type of aesthetic.
