The majority of interviews with pro skateboarders are embarrassing to read, they often don't say anything real about what their asked about and they are usually boring ass answers. For instance, it's always "yeah he's sick, I want to see everyone's part, they are both good". Now, I'm not looking for a fucking scandal every time I open an interview but (nearly) every pro seems shit scared of offending anyone if they speak their mind. There would be nothing wrong with someone voicing their opinion of not liking someone's skating or being annoyed that someone else did the same trick as them and released it before them. I'm aware there are some great and honest interviews etc but mostly, they are stale, bland and lack what feels like real personality.

There's this one kid in the area who aspires to be Keelan Dadd, going as far as to call himself "switch god". I've seen him run blatantly posed photos and drive all the way to a spot just to do a "throwaway" line for Instagram. I get really embarrassed for him whenever I see him out.

Not a specific person per say, but more something I've noticed people do that is second hand embarrassment inducing / annoying:

When playing skate and someone blatantly lies about what letter they are on; you either call them on it and look like you're a "jock" obsessed with keeping score, or you just keep playing and enjoy the game anyway. It's not so much about that person having an advantage but it makes me cringe when I've noticed someone doing this more than once or twice as it seems VERY desperate (everyone makes mistakes when tallying up what letter they're on in their head).

The guy that looks at you and the rest of your crew when they land a trick just to make sure you've seen what they just did.
