Well, not because of their style of course, but I must say that their new "clothing" doesn't exactly help. If you look at Tom Penny from the ss fs flip carlsbad/ss flip over handrail/tsa days, and look at him now, I would definetly say he's showing more sketchyness. I mean, he's showing more variety in his trick selection, but things just look sketchy, and his hat, shoes and his clothes seem to contain a sketchyness that Penny didn't use to have. Don't get me wrong, he lands most of his stuff clean, but still, it isn't like watching the good old Penny.
And then we have Reynolds. He was so more enjoyable to watch in the past. Like the Birdhouse/beginning of baker/feedback days. Just look at his fs 5-0 down that rail in all black, or his fs flip the trippelset in "The End" or his kickflip down that big 5 in Feeback, then look at his 50-50 in Baker 3 "On top of that yellow rail" and his ss pushing with arms all up in the air etc, etc. And like I said, I liked him better when he was a little baggier, seemed to have somewhat of a smoother style then.
So Penny: lose the cursed hat, big shoes, baggy pants and sweaters and rather pick up some of the old clothes.
And Reynolds: Start pushing like you used to, and do tricks the way you did them before, with that extra bit of style thrown into it.
Feel free to disagree, seeing how this is only my opinion
