He was his families only hope at some decent income, judging by his sisters prose, and he done fucks it all up. I honestly blame Keelan and Jose more than scumbag. It's easy to manipulate someone his age when the very person you look up to, *looking at Keelan*, is asking you to hook him up with his 12 year old fans. It's possible he didn't understand to the full extent what he was about to engage in considering when at 13 years of age, it shows videos of him (potentially *wink*) hooking up with older women, I can see how things regarding age can get skewed for him under his circumstances. Doesn't mean he shouldn't get punished for it regardless but just saying in the grand scheme of things, it's easier to go lighter on scumbag.

I feel like the whole "manipulation" factor of all this is utter bullshit! Steven is a teenage idol, among the younger hispanic community, who has girls THROWING THEMSELVES AT HIM!! He took advantage and got caught, shouldnt have done that, your just a boy!
As far as Keelan and Jose go, Jose is obviously a POS, but NOBODY really knows how much involvement Keelan had beyond what Steven and this 12 year old girl has said.
I'm simply trying to look at it from various perspectives. A lawyer can use this as his argument if he so chooses, that it comes down to bad parenting, and outside influences, which obviously is partially to blame, if you look at videos of him watching porn in front of his mom, partying with twenty some odd year old strippers/prostitutes/groupies when he was 12 or 13, while under the supervision of his DGK buddies. It's no surprise that pro skateboarders party hard and steven was included in them at a young age, and it's been documented and even glorified, which ironically led to his popularization, before this mess. Look at the way Keelan himself objectifies women which is exemplified by his own gf Sukimoto. Is it a surprise then that Steven is the way he is?
As for the other shit I wrote, I was in hs once, and the way I thought back then in regards to my actions vs consequences, was vastly different from the way I considered them when I was more mature. I was in a gang full of college guys and people in their late 20's, ignorant of the law, and the way they acted, thought, influenced my views and actions because I was highly impressionable at that age.
Just something to consider. In no way am I justifying his actions, because a hs kid getting with a 12 year old is highly disturbing no matter how you cut it, and any normal hs age guy would know this. And then to expose her to those old ass men is simply criminal and they're getting what they deserve.
