Guys, just wanted to be fully transparent to our SLAP homies, give you a peek behind the curtain and let you all know that we indeed had to push the 933 Reynolds shoe launch back to mid-April.  There was a factory production mistake that would have compromised the durability of the shoe and unfortunately, the only solution is to push the launch back 2 months and get them re-made.  We're definitely NOT going to put out a Reynolds shoe that isn't as good as we can make it, so this was the best solution.  Both launch colors will come out now currently planned for Friday 4/18.  I know that's a bummer for you all, but at least you'll now get imagery (per the Thrasher cover and more to come) from here on out.  Thanks for all the love on here and understanding.

Speaking of, are they going to be available in the EU also on 4.18? On 26th it will be my 40th bday and timing looks just perfect.

That should be a global launch date, so EMEA should be aligned with the same launch as us in the US.

NB ad features a closeup heel section of the brown and grey Reynolds is wearing on the cover.  Didn’t realize the outsole? was grey on the cover.   I like the teaser though.  I don’t want to be obsessing for months.   Want a little trickle here and there

Okay Pals, I printed out the outline of the Reynolds 933 which was the only image given in the catalogs and for fun filled in lines that I saw on the Thrasher cover. Obviously had to do some guesswork through some of it, but this all just for fun anyway.





On the cover photo it almost looks like there's an embossed toe cap coming down from the mesh area, but obviously can't be sure so maybe...



Disclaimer: I have not seen the shoe at all so like I said this is just going off the catalog outline and the Thrasher cover so don't get your hopes up or down ahaha. It'll be fun to see how close I actually came.

The tongue on the 933 reminds me of the RMS3 (Rodney Mullen Globe shoe). Just that part though. I honestly do hope we get an in depth video of the whole making the shoe process. I absolutely loved his interview with Village when he first went to numeric.

I was so hyped for the Reynolds G3, especially in brown/gum when they dropped, but found them super uncomfortable and only skated them a couple of times. I'm a big fan of NB though, and hope these live up to the hype.
