Shop put out new shoes early I think- there's a black 440 High with a white N and a white one with a light grey toe bumper.

As I’ve been obsessing over the new frankys. I think they’d look real good as a low top also.

Green's for those who haven't seen.
Edit: some shops have both colors for sale. Any idea on the sizing? Assuming TTS like all NB's except the 213?

getting this for sure!!! Great job guys!!
Was looking for a reason to switch off 306 and now this is finally it!!
Got another pair of 306 on my feet rn and then a pair of half cabs to get me by until these are available in canada :)

Wow - sad but only NB get my hyped about new models in this times - lovely shoe and insta buy as soon I can grab!

272’s are excellent, and I say this as someone who does not like vulcs. I love mine!

I’m also not a huge fan of vulcs (but they are what I skate most the time ) but the 272s was great. They have awesome board feel look super good. One piece toe cap and to me I felt more comfort on landings than I did with the 440. I think that weird arch/dome thing in the sole actually helps support and acts as an airbag on landings. Not saying you won’t feel anything but for a vulc it almost feels like a thin cup for me. Like the same amount of protection from a sole as the 440 or the Crockett.

I just picked up the Jake Hayes colorway and so far I'm a huge fan. I prefer cups usually but these feel nice and stable, look great and I just dig them. I'll pick up another pair for sure

Why is the Franky's a soft launch tho? No IG marketing, no posts from Franky himself...

Maybe we'll see a delayed, deliberate rollout of it on social media once NB# announces them. It's still kinda early in regards to marketing it online I think

Thanks for the inputs, been seeing the white/camel color on sale so I think i might jump on em. Also saw an all white with black n pair of 508s that just got added to the sight which are also tempting me in every way

We had a lot of stuff drop all at once, so Rone posts for now and then you'll start seeing the 417 Franky stuff very soon.  Sometimes it's hard to navigate all of it at once!  Shops are getting them now though, so it's just giving them a head start on spreading the word.

I'm loving the 1010 but can we get some decent color ways?

White + gum is awesome

White + blue + yellow is horrible

For an all white colorway on the Rone is 80$+ more dollars and even then you still find a way to make the bottom "off white"

I'm seeing that NB# are doing a V2 of the 440, but does anyone know what the differences are supposed to be? I didn't get accepted into that test sadly.

Hopefully the same but with an actual insole and not that napkin

Hopefully the same but with an actual insole midsole and not that napkin just the front half of your foot basically smacking directly into the ground

If they shipped with the NB branded Superfeet that I put in I would be stoked. Or a slightly thicker midsole

Or honestly just extend the midsole into the forefoot

https://wearecivil.com/shop/footwear/new-balance-440-white-blue/

In this colourway you can see the orange midsole in the bottom and it abruptly stops right before the forefoot. I get its for boardfeel but it honestly can hurt to land on your feet in that area. If the midsole was just extended such that it was full length I'd be so hyped

I tired on Frankys shoe today and can confirm it runs true to size. I got wide feet and these fit pretty good. Can also confirm that these shoes will have a less chance of rolling your ankles. Wide soles help with that and also it being a mid while laced all the way up felt pretty good (look at my username for reference lol) Will purchase in the future after I skate through 3 pairs of 1010s on ice lol Impact not as good as 1010 but that wasnt expected

Yah basically this. Just some high density foam there would be awesome. My soles don't wear out before my upper and the shoes are fine for the most part. I'll likely swap insoles to get more arch support but I don't want that built into the shoe necessarily.

happy to see a brand taking something that works and improving on it, not something that happens anymore. so easy for a shoe company to keep that stat quo or scrap it after a while.

It probably won’t be, but I hope it’s a little wider of a shoe

I was about to buy the Black 440H. But wondering if I should bother now since they’re making some V2s.
