Tried on the black suede 600s and they felt a stiff, but when the white ones finally came in the mail, they fit just like everyone else has been raving about.

I'm also curious to see what they do with the Tiago line over time. One guy having 2 "flagship" tier pro models isn't super common in skateboarding but it seems like both models are doing well. Interested to see if they ever do a Tiago 3 or if they just keep both the 1010/808 in the lineup indefinitely

I say it at least once every year but I do think the 1010 should get the Busenitz treatment and just be in catalog forever

I'm hoping that they stick around.

I'm not like fixed. My ankles still hurt a little but yo

Before I got these I was scared the end was close. Now I know I'm going to roll for the rest of my life again.

Everything is fine.

Makes me wish I found them earlier.

I told ML Carr that NB needed a skate team back in 2005. He laughed. He said "SKATEBLOARDING?!?"

I was like yeah duh. Where's your local pride? You guys could get something cool and Small going.
The best skater in the world is from town.

Probably why I never got promised shoes and never offered me a nickel for all my work.

Apprenticeships only work if you're learning from someone who already knows how to do it. That wasn't the case at all.

I should have at least gotten the promised shoe like all the others who quit right after.

I stuck it out cuz of Lonnie Cartoon.
What a beautiful heart.

If anyone ever runs into her in life. Plz treat her nice.

She's one of the people who believed in me and had my back after my brothers murder.

Ok

I agree a little tight but it definitely filled out.

The 8.5 is to small. The 9 dead on.

I'd say it's a full size jump from my usual size.

A bunch of NB Numeric on sale plus code EX40 takes another 40% off. Pairs down to 30 some bucks
Really good sale I must say, and tons of sizes from what I saw, After all this 440 high footy I've seen lately i just had to try them. They look so good in footy but the pictures online just always turned me off for some reason. I must say they have some of the best colorways, almost every colorway on that site is a banger. I feel like the 1010 and 440 have such good colorways then like the foy has such shit colorways its odd. Anyway 40 or so bucks was a deal for a high top cup sole I can't complain, sick colorway too

Sorry if this has been asked before (I'm sure it has) but will there be a high top of the Tom Knox at some point?

They’d just rot in their shoebox. My old man knees can’t handle 440s 🥲

They’ll always have a place in my heart though.

For me the 440 is a killer chiller shoe nowadays.

$47,50 after tax and shipping with the discount code on top for the brown 440. Will tide me over till V2

And I'm a broken record but the 440 with the Superfeet Run Comfort insoles end up basically perfect.

Yeah that Concepts sale is amazing, got these NB#s for the price of just one 1010. First time in 508s and haven't had a 1010 since they first released. Super stoked  ;D

The last pair of the teased 480s (from the teaser image from months ago) says “Coming Soon” on NB’s site.

Cant wait to see what colors are coming in 2024. Have we gotten a clear look at the highs yet?

The highs look very good. If you like the standard 480 you'll be hyped on them.

Do they look like the regular ones with the bubble on the side?

I've been skating the 440's a lot lately and have noticed an odd effect the shape of the sole has on certain tricks. Specifically the inside heel part just after the curve in the arch area seems a little more prominent than in many of my other shoes I own and it's been cause me problems with crooks mostly. Like the foot position I place needs to be modified but I keep hitting the pocket with that part of the shoe and it just gets stuck there. I think the wider heel is comfortable, but in the upcoming V2 I'm hoping the outsole is a tiny bit slimmer. It's a weird hope maybe. Other than that they seem to have the best flick of probably any other shoe I've had. I've accepted that my crooked grinds are going to be a tiny bit shorter in them.

These are real nice!  I'd love to get my hands on a pair but doubt that will be possible as it seems like a pretty limited release.  @rothdigga you know much about them?

If that's causing a problem with your crooks then your technique needs work. I've been doing them in any and every type of shoe imaginable for years and never, ever has the shoe influenced how far I grind or do that trick.

Rukus will have them pretty much exclusively for their launch, maybe Humidity has a small run but if you're looking for them, definitely go online at Rukus when they launch and you should have some luck with getting them.

Numeric 480 Highs are on the NB website now (but not yet available)

https://www.newbalance.com/pd/nb-numeric-480-high/NM480HV1-45867.html?dwvar_NM480HV1-45867_style=NM480HSD
[close]
Oh wow, those look great. I was comparing them to the non Numeric highs and it looks like they scaled down the collar a tiny bit and maybe made the ankle bubble less prominent? Either way I'm definitely getting a pair of these. Now I'm curious what other colorways are coming out...

https://www.joesnewbalanceoutlet.com/pd/480-high/BB480COA-D-09.html?ef_id=EAIaIQobChMIp-2In_PpggMVFgetBh3ueQMLEAQYAiABEgIDZfD_BwE:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!3755!3!658798004822!!!g!2065903064543!&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIp-2In_PpggMVFgetBh3ueQMLEAQYAiABEgIDZfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds#dwvar_BB480V1-44542_size=9&dwvar_BB480V1-44542_style=BB480COA&dwvar_BB480V1-44542_width=D&pid=BB480V1-44542&quantity=1
We gave the heel a notch cutout as well as making the "puffiness" of the collar much less.  So you don't have the pressure on your Achilles when you wear them and also easier to put on with the little cutout.  But aesthetically they look better in our opinion.
Available at shops Dec 8 and then on NB.com Dec 11 for your info.
