I don't think I've ever seen that monkey graphic before, but as a fan of monkeys I approve.

From afar it seemed Mighty Boosh-esque

It's hidden in the leaves on his OG Panther graphic.

Just popped in to say that I love the 440 v1 to no end. Still have a pair on ice for after my current pair has worn out.

Agree. On my first lows and I love these. I need more of these,  both highs and lows.

Are shops getting these?

Also, has anyone tried any indoor shoes from NB? I just want to know if they're TTS.

A super small amount of shops ordered these, I'll get a list together but I think it's a short list.

They just jumped the gun over there on their highs.  May 31 at shops so 2 weeks from today they should be up and available for everyone both Europe and US.

@rothdigga you guys need to take Tom Asta from eS. His YouTube channel rules and he’d bring lots of exposure for your shoes.

Yeah, Canada has them (and the Natas) coming soon up there.  They've got a little warehouse issue that's taking us a little longer to transfer some inventory but they're getting all 3 480 hi's.

The Natas shoe is sick!  Congrats to # on a very cool release and video.

Went searching for it on the site and thought it was funny nothing came up

But when you reverse it…

@rothdigga would it be possible to get the first 2 launch colorways of the 1010 as rereleases ? Might be kind of a nonsense question, but I was going through my old shoes and found my pair of the white/blue 1010s that came out the summer of 2020 and made me miss them. They’re super trashed so definitely beyond wearing anymore, and I missed out on the all black colorway that came out along side it. Wish I would’ve gotten that one as well, I think that might be the best Tiago colorway still for the 1010. Anyway if not all good. Will still buy whatever colors that come out in the future.

Gotta search 480. Then they pop up: https://www.newbalance.com/pd/nb-numeric-480-high/NM480HV1-47933.html

Question for the 1010 users in here. Just went from the 440V2’s to the 600’s. Loved both but I’d say the 600 is by far my favourite skate shoe in recent years. The flick is extremely grippy from out of the box to destroyed.

Would 1010’s be considered a super grippy shoe? I’ve read people like the flick on them but looking for a little more insight

I find 600 grippier than 1010 for sure

Every once in a while NB throws in a chiller shoe into their line-up & they're usually worth consideration.
These will be strongly considered for my line-up.

Asta is one of my favorites and I think it’s pretty sick that he has been repping eS hard for so long. But NB# is my favorite shoe brand right now and definitely would do more with him footage wise than a couple edits at the courthouse when he goes to California a couple times a year. It would be a huge upgrade for him. Also who the fuck is paying $80+ for eS shoes these days?

I found the 1010 to not be very grippy honestly. Skated a few pairs cuz I love the look, but I think the sole materials and lack of depth in the treads make the tread wear out super fast.

Like 70% of the tread is rock solid throughout the middle of the foot but the corner pinky toe side balds out fairly quick. To me the shoe still feels grippy but easier to wiggle around when adjusting foot position, but it’s not like the 480 where the entire sole is so grippy they squeal all the time

I would say the grip on the 1010s is 7/10 while everything else about the shoe is perfect

While I agree, I certainly hope he's getting paid well enough to stay.

That said, I'd never buy a pair of eS, but would totally support him with buying a NB# shoe with his name on it.

I think people should separate Asia, who mostly films for YouTube, from some of NB's other big signings. Ryan Lay has more modern parts than Tom, all the younger NB riders are churning out footage, and even the Euro guys in the Sour vids have more recent footage in actual skate parts. Tom is a great skater and seems like a nice dude, but has kinda oriented himself towards mostly putting out park footage on YouTube and a few forgettable clips.
