Xen going full heel, and changing the avatar over a meltdown was not on my radar.

Which btw.. it’s hilarious to see cry about getting kooked when it was literally one kook from me over you acting like an asshole for no good reason.
[close]

Pretty sure I didn't kook you? Are you assuming that because I'm in the thread when you are? There are other posts that you/we all make that might get someone keyboard warrioring?

Gnars and kooks are the lamest thing on the forum, people are hellbent on it (fools even make new accounts because it is so important to them (we see you), everyone please, feel free to kook me ot the negatives, I really don't care. At all. I get kooked when I don't even post; imagine getting hard over kooking someone.

Bronze shoe icon is KILLING it and you know it. Shit is hilarious. Just like shelving gear based on a successful trick. It's equally dumb as fck and that's the point (you just missed it).

Anyway, back to NB# shoes used for skating instead of trophies.

I wasn’t saying you kooked me, I was saying that I kooked you yesterday when you made your post asking others to “kook away”.

I don’t pay much attention to my own karma, as I have serial kookers who pretty much hit me up daily.

And yes, I dig the new avatar and think it’s hilarious you tied your avatar in with your rant.

1st pair of 1010s (or any NB skate shoe actually) and yeah, mid foot feels narrow but I can see that going away on break in. Feels like I will need to wear them as chillers for a week or so before they are ready for my old man dad feet.

Has anyone skated the Audazo shoes yet? Either this futsal fit is not for me, or I'm wearing the wrong size shoe like David Bluetile.

I went TTS like I did with the 440 V2, and they fit fine. I've already sent them back because they feel like slippers (I was kinda hoping to skate them).

Gotcha. Thank you for the kook, I appreciate you. Some people can't take heavy trolling (@tzhangdox) and get bent easy (it's easy as pit after that stage).

I went as full troll/rant as they are as serious with making shoe trophies and they didn't get it.

I'm already down to 1029, fuccbois are in it to win it. They're gonna literally check back daily, dcks in hand, ready to click that kook button. Fucking hilarious. Small, petty lives.

ANYWAY.

Has anyone that skated the 440V2 HI AND the Nike Leo and have anything to say about how they stack up? I returned my 440Hi after I got them as I wasn't feeling the blue colorway.

I have skated both. The 440 fits my foot better and is more structured than the last one especially in the collar. I prefer the 440 slightly because it feels more stable than the Leo and while the React is nice, it packed out for me and no insoles I had got them feeling the same. The 440V2 uppers also lasted me longer. In person though I think they don't look quite as good as the V1. The leather 600 I have feel better than both. It's close enough that I'd base purchasing on colorway.

Haven't seen the skate ones yet just the soccer ones but feel like companies really need to warn people with soccer shoes that they will be really fucking thin. They're made to wear on a flat smooth surface and be able to feel a spongey ball thru

Any word on the next 480's(not high) release. Hopefully a "normal" colorway. Had to buy the last pair from jersey and i'm in FL.
We rode 7.5's" and didn't complain.

You have those Lakers and Celtics ones that seem pretty "normal" to me.

This has happened to me with every single 808 I had (like 6 pairs by now. Or doesn't bother me but it makes me curious, wtf? These ones I have only walked them in shorts and skated once for 30 min cruising with surf pants.

If you did like 100 no complys I could understand the wear at this specific spot, but just from cruising? Or if you rode a bike and came to close to the chain. It's a bit strange but I don't think it impacts the performance of the shoe.

I am honestly a bit jealous because every NB# shoe I tried didn't fit me. The narrow mid foot and the heel slips. I tried most of them in 2 sizes. 306 and 1010 COULD work, but I didn't feel like experimenting and breaking them in. Maybe some day in the future. 600 and 808 I haven't tried but I don't like the look of these models.

Yeah, no impact regarding performance whatsoever, it just bothers to not know why or how this happens

This happens to my shoes whenever I wear puffier shoes. It's just from walking and the medial sides of your feet scraping past each other without you really noticing it.

That’s odd. I wore mine nonstop all last summer, and did lots of cruising and they look like this:

This. It doesn't happen all that much on my skate shoes, but all of my basketball shoes, without exception, get shredded in the exact same spot from foot-to-foot contact that you don't even notice while playing or doing drills.

If only those 600s didnt have the mesh, shit gets dirty so quick and the fantomfit tape or whatever is peeling up on my pair that are only a week old haven't even skated them yet.
[close]
If you mean something like this same thing is happening to me on my 1010 :(
Been skating them for like 2 weeks.
[close]

That happened on both pairs I've owned. The collar mesh also ripped on both pairs before I skated them, just from walking around for a week or two to the corner store and shit. I tried New Balance support on the first pair a few times and never got a response and didn't try again for the second pair because of that experience. I like the soles but it's weird how the mesh parts just rip from walking in them. I figured this was just a launch issue but my more recent black pair is suffering the same fate.

Feeling vindicated rn.

For sure the Leo is comfy, but that shoe is 99% react insole, you take it out and it's a shell of a shoe, super flimsy. The leo upper is fully bagged out and the react is def starting to pack down...but they're soooo comfy and all I remember about the 440v2s before I returned them was how hard they felt, no give and that was just inside on carpet...
