So we're getting a second Reynolds 480 apparently ^^ maybe also a Easter egg on a possible Boss shoe on those white/grey on the screen?
Still waiting for that Slap 440V2 cw, make it happen NB#
[close]
Love the white with gum bottoms. Hope they're plush like the first ones.

They just released a white/gum sole one but the sole isn’t fully gum.   I’d guess this is a sample of that
Could be, but looks like it has a Reynolds tag on the tongue.

Finally pulled the trigger on a pair of 580s after months of deliberating the purchase. They were pricey but the thick ass sole looks super comfy and they get rave reviews so fingers crossed they will be a good buy

@rothdigga I like the trail 440's but can we get a 440 golf?

I'm more than willing to offer my shoe nerd knowledge and golf shoe suggestions to the project. May or may not have a concept already

Happened upon a pair of 600 (the last pair) in the 50% off sale on NJ.

$47! Could not pass that up.

I should also add for the size 9 folks that the white/green release colorway is still available for the same sale price on NJ.

it was more a joke, not gatekeeping anyone's ability to post. There is a thread in the Whatever sub in which ignore lists are discussed so it was a joke based on that, but a poor reference.

Finally found the check box in the forum settings that hides the posts of who you flagged to ignore (without the box checked they just read as ‘ignored’ and you can’t get DMs but still see their posts).

Pure bliss.

It could only be better if it removed their name from the threads so I could forget they exist entirely. Note: this isn’t about people I disagree with but used for people that add nothing to any conversation. More people should ignore me instead of bunching their panties.

Back on topic, the synth 440v2 are getting worn really really fast…I’ll edit a pic in later. I assume that’s just how it is (I’m not a vegan shoe person as first choice).

The 2E fit of this shoe is top fucking tier.

Does anybody know any US shops that ship to Australia for a reasonable price? Unfortunately we missed out on the 440V2 highs here and might bite the bullet and pay extra for overseas shipping.

Has someone on here removed the N from the 600s? I am just curious how it would look. And yeah. These shoes are incredible, first NB# besides the 306 that fit me well in my usual 7.5 size. Left shoe feels a tiny bit snug but that could also be because of the plantar fasciitis I am dealing with. I think they will stretch out a bit after a few days?

I didn't remove them but both sides are flapping around on mine. I considered it, but honestly I think they'd look weird without it. It's a pseudo athletic shoe in terms of design and those naturally have logos on them. I don't hate the N as much as most people seem to it's just the Adidas stripes with the middle one shifted. Plus I'm not embarrassed to rock skate shoes that are top tier. Maybe 10 years ago when they just got into the game?

NB has that Dad shoe stigma for a lot of folks, but it's not as real/relevant as it used to be. Honestly, I think it's a Gen-X thing, 80s NB dad shoes were a big deal ;) I initially wanted to rip off the N on my 600s, but that shoe looks tits and the N really works with it imo (and it comes off super easy/almost right away anyway).

Prefer the BIG/update N and the small N without the double layer (that's the dad vibe one).

N or not, they're killing it, no one comes close.

Which is why I will buy them instantly if they’re suede. Reynolds 1 was my first real skate shoe.

There’s already a white and gum one that’s closer that colorway.  That Reynolds Emerica didn’t have an all gum sole

This is kinda what I was saying earlier. The wides didn’t seem all that wide to me.

They fit great though and are (as 440’s naturally are) very comfortable.

Got my 580s in, laced em up and tried em on and I am fucking blown away. Maybe the most comfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet. Like walking on pillows no lie. My first pair of non-Numeric NB's and I'm a devoted follower of the brand now, love their skate shoes but I swear these joints are next level. New Balance kills it

Can anyone compare 808 vs 440v2 in terms of how they fit? I'm 11.5 in Nike and blazers mids fit like a glove with very little extra room. Recently I bought a pair of 808s but had to return them (should have read all the posts here saying that they fit .5 small...).

Should I go tts or .5 up in 440v2?

their running shoes are top tier as well. I could probably do ten miles a day in their fresh foam shoes.

This is insane, I’d be livid.  NB just can’t get it right when it comes to skate shoes for wide/high volume feet.  Any of their shoes that’s roomy enough in one area is narrow/tight as hell in another.  Heel slip, golf ball arches, etc.

Will echo the love for 990s though.. even in standard width the 990v5s I bought feel like a dream.  Sadly, the newest v6 version is pretty narrow and tight across the midfoot.. they better not fuck that series up too.
