Thats roughly a 100 kickflips with a brand new jessup ultra. Im really starting to like these. Swapped a thinner insole and they feel on point.

I know. Imagine if all shoes was this tough. I need to get my ass to more sales and stock up right after I score a some cats.

Then I'll be the fuckin styling in multiple directions. I finally found a spandex  :o jean I can put up with too. I cut them all into short shorts too.

Full flexing This year. In th fall I'm hitting the store to get fitted for some real shit. My teefs will maybe be fixed. I just need some blank 3 row belt blanks to make some custom sick and I need a bag of 77 medium cones.

I got mad vintage levi denim jackets to run through still. My current is kinda old.

Fresh fuckin 25. Here we go y'all. Up the fuckin ponks
Album link. I saw another pals account   Photos too big. Apologies. I know some of yall hate me for it

Was about to ask the same, seems like a lovely nod to the OG

Hey pals, I need your advice. I need a kinda wider toe room like the 600 with a bit more arch support. Does the 1010 fit the bills for that? 306 and 600 fit me well. 574 vulc and 417 not so much. Does the 1010 get any looser around the toe area over time? How are the stock insoles in them? I am still having problems with plantar fasciitis and looking for more supportive shoes.

https://www.newbalance.com/pd/nb-numeric-tiago-lemos-1010/NM1010V1-45840.html

This particular colorway looks hella nice if anyone had experiences with these. Same size I wear in the 600 and 306?
I haven't skated my 600s yet and have just been wearing them around for now so take this with a grain of salt, but my 600s fit very similarly to my 1010s. The main difference was that the 1010s were tighter in the toe (I had the all suede ones) but they formed to fit my feet better over time. I've heard that the suede and mesh toed ones are the best for this, and to avoid the leather ones.

I have really bad flat feet and deal with plantar fasciitis on and off, along with some other aliments in my legs and knees, and the 1010s were by far the best skate shoe I've ever had for that. I just ran mine with the stock insoles and didn't have the need to switch them out at all. The combination of the cushioning built into the shoe and the way they formed to my feet a little really made a difference. I skated a pair of wafflecup Vans after the 1010s and the contrast between them was night and day.

You're probably already aware of this stuff, but I'll add that doing a lot of targeted stretches, using something like a tennis or lacrosse ball on my feet, and even using toe spacers really helped my plantar fasciitis too. Shoes themselves often aren't enough to offer lasting relief for me.

A bit of a stretch.  The current white gums are closer unless the new ones are leather.   (I remember I better white gum Reynolds in suede at the very beginning)

There is white suede (not coke white but fairly close), but it’s mad expensive and you will not find it in skate shoes or low budget models that are price sensitive.

It all comes to the dyeing process. The suede is the flesh side of leather that naturally has a darker colour but then it gets lightened to be able to take a colour dye after (not sure which kind of process, would guess bleaching but that might destroy the fibres). Then after that it can be turned into any colour as they are translucent dyes, but white is not a translucent colour.  It’s oppaque and wouldn’t blend in.

Think of you having a light grey pair of pants and you wanna dye them blue or red or wtvr, that will work. But you can’t really die them white, you can bleach them, but not dye.

So yeah, to get white suede they need to repeat the lightening process over and over until it gets as close as they can to white but that’s labour intensive and costly.

I don't think these are numeric but anyone fuck with these?

Yeah it’s not # but that’s the true Skate 574, thats an actual cupsole. Newer version is a vulc sole and doesn’t feel like the same shoe at all honestly. Too floppy and zero support underfoot.

yo i been eying some 1010- those newer wheat/ navy colorway but usually end up with heel slip on those nom matter the size.
Since i heard that they changed the fit/ heel pods a year ago can somebody chime in on how the fit changed/ they notice anything?
i'd be down to try em since i can get a good deal but don't want the hassle of sending them back if anybody is like "feel no differnece on the fit, heel slip stilla a thing"

thanks in advance

I have the same question regarding the newer 1010 models. On most shops there are 1010 versions which cost 100 Euro and other versions which cost 110 Euro. The 110 Euro ones are the improved fit versions I guess?
Same size as the 306 or 600 for you guys?

I don’t think the changes to the tongue, heel pods, and whatever else they changed did anything to improve the fit. Rather than creating a more snug fit, or locking my heel in, the modified heel pods push my foot forward, creating space for more heel slippage. Don’t get me wrong, I still rock the 1010s frequently when I skate. But I really have to cinch the laces down in a way that sort of kills the look I’m going for.

EDIT: After skating a dozen colorways of the 1010s, I’ve found myself gravitating to the Tom Knox 600s. They’re not as puffy as the 1010s, but there’s no heel slippage at all. I put them on and then forget about them. The upper is thin enough to provide better board feel for flip tricks and the cupsole provides perfectly adequate impact protection.

Ok

I have to cinch that 1010 hard too my dude, it looks fucking horrible (and I'm not going for the 90s style/tiago lace 'open' look either), just want them to be not be cranked like my mom bought me  shoes two sizes too big in grade school to make them last.

yeah….that heel slip was never nice.
i’ve been trying to get more used to it. i’ve got pizza slice shaped feet: little narrow heels, wide ass hobbit feet up front. so i’ve always had heel slip. nikes fit me better than most, but their skate stuff these days is mia. i should proabbly just stick to 1’s.
the 1010s i could get by with the joggers loop.
this makes me want to try on the 600s. they look sick, mellow.
with nb i need to try their stuff on, in person. which is fine, i just live far from skate shops rn.
if the 808 was wider i’d be set. i’ll probably just go back to those when these ave 2.0s are done

I found the 600 upper kinda thin and lackluster (I like the shoe), but yeah, the jogger loop on the 1010 would have made it work...it's weird, the eyelet is present on the knox 600, yet doesn't really need it...go figure....easy to retool the heel padding on the 1010 than add the extra eyelet.

New Reynolds 480 colorway live on Theory’s site.

https://theoryskate.com/collections/shoes/products/new-balance-480-reynolds-white-brown?variant=46257782227131

Looks like off-white, mostly leather, with a suede toecap. I’m always partial to gum soles, so these look buttery to me.
