Hey guys, have you had a different fit with the 600? I have the launch black/gum colorway and if fits like a glove and I bought the white/grey leather ones and they fit bit sturdy. Wil they get as great as the black ones?

Thanks!
Those black ones fit me super nicely, the white/gum leather ones like shit.
I've learned to stay away from NB# leather shoes. Thank God o don't have that issue with my 480 x 303 which I don't even like anymore since I hear that shady history about them that I don't remember in detail right now.
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

Same experience. I never buy leather numerics anymore since they all have vastly different feels to them compared to anything suede. The 1010 specifically, every pair of leather ones I’ve had fit not as good and take forever to break in. The only leather numerics that ever treated me nicely were the few pairs of leather 288 sports that I’ve skated. Sad that that shoe isn’t around anymore but the 600 pretty much hits all the notes, just miss the sock like fit they had, didn’t even really need laces for em.

Damn that sucks. I really like white leather colorways but it is really noticiable the fitting difference. The black pair is easily one of my favorite shoes in a long time.

I'll be buying the Burgundy/gum when those are on sale.

You talkin about the all black ones ? Love that colorway. About to buy my third pair of them since who knows when we will get another blacked out color of 600s. Burgundy and gums are nice as fuck got a feeling they’ll be on sale soon before holiday drops

The leather colourways being off on fit and taking forever to break in is an interesting take. I’ve only skated leather pairs of the 600, 1010. I’ve skated the 808 with leather and suede combo as well as the 440V2. I’ve really liked all of them but then again suede is never my first choice on any skate shoe

Right. Hell maybe I’ve gotten a some off pairs of leather 1010s but the ones that were tough to get going were the white leather with green accents, and the black leather ones that came out a little after launch. All my suede 1010s with mesh toe were absolutely perfect and required almost no break in time for me.

No, I got the black gum launch colorway but the blacked out pair is solid too. I'm not a big fan of all black shoes but those are clean.

Hopefully, they'll drop some good colorways as usual. I really wanted the smurf ones but missed the opportunity  :'(

Same here :( my excuse was that I was super disappointed from my white/gun launch pair.
Wonder if they will have the Smurfs available again @rothdigga

Yeah I’m really curious what we have coming up for the holiday season. I’m trying to hold off on buying more shoes though until we have more information on the Reynolds shoe. I think I saw it’s Supposedly coming out in the spring

Bought a pair of cheap 440v1s and remember why I didn't think much of them the first time. I will steer clear of NB from now on. I find them uncomfortable and a poor fit for my feet. I've also skated 508s. Tried on several other NBs and none fit me well enough to try to skate them. There's not much to the 440v1s and maybe that's what folk like about them.

I loved the 440v1 but the lack of forefoot protection during a spike in tendonitis ended in shelving a pair early. Preaching to the choir here but the 440v2 gave me hope for more midsole protection but, unfortunately, it was the one area that stayed the same. Sorry you didn't like them and sorry you'll forever see this thread in your Replies updates.

I've had 5 colors of the 600 in both materials and they all fit the same but leather is stiffer for sure, however, they do break in super nice. I had the white leather with grey N and they were slower to break in, but lasted much longer than my Suede ones. I just got off a pair of the all black suede and back to the black leather in the same session and you definitely notice, but after they get some wear I'm used to em.

I skated some old 1010 the other day and while it's still an awesome shoe I could probably skate fine once I'm used to it the 600 just do it all for me and I've got no more shoe madness. If I did I'd be fucked since I have 5 pairs of the white leather, 3 pairs of the black suede, 1 pair of black leather, and a pair of Smurf.

oh no, I love them. They may be the best time Ive had with a shoe in a looong time. I always bring up the 288 in this thread because I thought they were the best. Tried the 480 and hated them at first, got the 440v2 to walk around in at work and once broken in they felt like theyd skate amazing

and damn they are. So I bought two more that I stumbled on on sale.

Gonna DM you why I called it disgusting as it wouldnt be relevant to the thread

Has anyone had any heel pain issues with 1010s? I tried a pair a few months ago and noticed the heel/achilles hold was quite strange feeling and then after a few weeks I started to develop really bad heel pain in one foot which I self-diagnosed as Subcutaneous Calcaneal Bursitis. I don't know but I suspect the shoes are partly responsible for this.

Apart from that I noticed the sole wearing down quite fast which is normal but for the retail price of the 1010s it's not really sustainable.

They donate to the party they back and they’re shady?

I'm only repeating the diatribe Feedback Ted went on on IG when I asked him about not wanting to skate NB when he used to get free Nikes, but he now skates NB so guess he didn't care. I didn't and I don't know much about fashion but supposedly NB actually has good DEI programs and treat their employees well so I've got no issue with their politics considering most of us use software products own by narcissistic right wingers/authoritarians who are actually using their influence in destructive ways.

What shady history?

Yeah, please try to recall what that shady history is

I think someone mentioned employee sketchiness that went beyond sketchy and managers pulling a Jamie Thomas when told about it

Yup, pretty much what you describe happened to me. There was also another person on here who said they suffered with heel and achilles pain after skating in 1010s. Haven't had it diagnosed but it didn't vanish after changing shoes so I will look into this. Thanks for sharing

I did have heel pain upon impact, which is weird as it’s one of the most cushioned shoes you can buy.

I've gotten Achilles tendonitis from shoes that put too much pressure on the Achilles tendon. I had to wear them super tight for the specific sport and there was a tension band effectively where the top of the collar was. Felt like a dull ache for a while but got sharper over time until I finally had to wear a boot and do PT for a month.

What I've learned from my ongoing plantar fasciitis journey. The hamstrings from most people are too tight due to things like sitting at work for example. This can cause pain in knees, ankles, buttcheeks, in the groin area or in the achilles area and said plantar fasciitis. Maybe that could be a cause for you pals.

I have pain in all of these areas and some hamstring stretches and some yoga poses help a lot on most days.

Sorry I don't want to come across as Mister know it all, it's just something I learned the last months. Maybe it can help someone.

For my PF I added the stretching along with some squats, deadlifts, and calf strengthening exercises and my PF has gone away.
