Anyone had success with changing the Abzorb insole of the 480 to a less supportive one, such as the stock NB# Ortholite? The Abzorb insole in the 480 feels kinda narrow/crampy and makes my feet ache.

Yes I put my old 808 insoles in my 480s and it helped with the foot cramping. The stock 480 insoles always made the arch in my right foot cramp up after wearing for an extended period of time.

I’ve swapped in a slimmer insole from an old pair of 440 v1 to the 480 and that helped for me as well.

Did something git changed for NB# 600? I have the black gum launch colorway, that white grey and now just got the timberwolf green ones. All pairs are in the the same size.

Suede and leather feel a bit different, that's normal but the neweset ones of the 600 feel a tad bit roomier and longer? Maybe I need to break them in properly.

I don't think they've tinkered with that shoe at all since the launch but I will ask the design bros and find out.  But I'm pretty sure they're exactly the same build as when we launched them since that was only 1 year ago.  Could just be a materials difference in fit is my guess.

Holy fuck, I hope that price on the Reynolds is wrong.  How much more can skate shoes go up in cost and skaters keep affording them.  I wanted to get a pair but it's getting ridiculous.  We're going to be at $150 soon.  I want them to do well but man I think that cost may hurt that

That price is correct.  $130 retail.  They're SUPER tech and there's a lot built into them, they don't look and feel like just a regular old suede shoe with nothing into it so hopefully our history of durability and comfort will justify that, but I do get that $130 is difficult for some.

I understand sticker shock, but if one looks at the durability of the 808 or 1010, those are shoes certainly justify their costs in longevity alone.

Im alright with that! The numeric line has some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve skated. If the Reynolds shoe goes beyond what already exists that price is fair. Can’t wait to see what it looks like

It seems to me, that the ortholite insole is a little bit thinner and some different foam material this time. I put some older ortholite 600 insole in the new 600 model and it fits a bit more snug now.

I compared this new 600 with the black gum launch colorway and the tongue of the newer ones also seems a bit thinner. I think I have to return these shoes sadly. The fit feels a bit different as the launch colorway.

i mean the tiagos are supposed to be 110 and its normal to see them for 60-80,

not sure thatll be the case with the reynolds but surely once it gets past the initial drop.
