Can anyone comment on which NB's have a low toebox? the 1010's fit me really well for example but the 480's have a lot of space above my toes. Looking to see what else would fit like the Tiagos.

imo the 600s fit very similarly to the 1010s. They feel like a slimmed down version of the 1010s to me

I would agree too. The 600s did everything better I didn't like about the 1010.

Really digging my 600s as well

I've tried a few other shoes and no reason to change from my 600's. Plus the 11 pairs I have on ice that I got on sale.

Imagine if the Reynolds fit between the 1010 and 600.  What a shoe

Damn. 11 pairs? That's sick. All the same colorways? I found the newest color fit a little bit different. Those timberwolf green ones.

You got me intrigued to try out the 600. I like 440s (V1) but they start to feel too flimsy soon and are super low.

Is this the pair you’re talking about? I tried a colorway before these on in .5 size bigger as my actual size leaves my toes feeling squeezed. If they fixed this and the new colorways are TTS for me I’m gonna be cheesed lol

At least I didn’t buy 5 sizes too big I suppose

True, but so is the 808, but  judging by comments in here doesn’t fit that.   Also, Reynolds seems to like the 808 the best, so I’m thinking it’ll be closer to that

Anyone else find 1010 a bit tricky for heel flips

I think it's the way the heel on the soul protrudes out at the bottom

Imo the shape/stiffness of the heel portion on the sole helps my heel flips. I think having that little protrusion helps my heel get the right grab and flick, on narrower or vulc shoes sometimes I'll airball the flick.

Yeah man. This was the colorway which was a bit too big and roomy in my usual 7.5 size. All colorways before fit really well in my tts. Maybe these work for you better. I get the squeezed toes but the 600 seem to mold a bit to my feet after a while.

Fuck, I sized up because the last pair I had in my normal size squeezed my shits.

I have been skating the 1010s and 480 highs. I’m way to lazy to go back through the hundreds of pages to see if there’s any leaks on the Reynolds shoe.

Btw Intervals isbsupooed to be online "mid November" which would be this week. Any specific date?

440v2 mid skates great.

I feel like it's gonna be the opposite story of the 480 high though.

Starts out great, doesn't last that long.

Vs a 480 that starts out not so great, last long and gets better with age.

Yah I'm a psycho but 6 pairs of the white leather with the grey N, 4 pairs all black suede, 1 pair black leather with grey N. They'll always match everything I wear and I got them all on pretty good sale prices.

Fellow Dad, I love the look of the 440 V2 highs. A cuff or two of the pantaloon and Dad is looking far from a goon.

Confirmed by wife and daughter. No harsher critics.
[close]

I’ve just always assumed white shoes weren’t for me. It doesn’t matter how I look at the sesh, as my homies are pretty lax with how they dress. I’ll be trying to channel my inner 1988 James Hetfield. I’ll be wearing my pads and helmet too, is it’s a pretty moot point  ;D

If I could only ever wear black/gum shoes, it’d be fine by me.
[close]

agreed. I can't do white either. I had some all white canvas 213s and they were OK once fucked up and dirtied... I almost always aim for black and dark colors. I have the brown 440 V2 highs and the olive/ black 440v2 lows at the moment. Daughter says they look good. Midddle aged fashion is a struggle...

Yeah man, tell me about it.
I feel like I’m too old for bagged out pants, but they go so well with clunky shoes.

I’ve ordered some 1010s in brown with black soles. They’re without mesh upper. Having read up on it, it seems 808s are a little stiffer than 1010, so I thought the 1010 with a suede upper might be good for winter and maybe a little stiffer.

I’ve found some OG 574. Forrest Gump style. Seems like a good everyday sneaker. I’m on my feet a lot of the day as a teacher. Will check them out.

The dark teal 440 trail looking fine as well.

Stupid ass question finally broke a lace on my 1010s, sadly wasn’t even done while skating they got stuck in my bike chain. What laces is it I replace with there seems to be 4/5 different lace types I can easily write off the flat laces I’m guessing the bubble laces but they all seem way too long.

I am a dad. And as such I am naturally attracted to New Balances, as they’re the daddest shoes in the world.
I’ve been skating for roughly 2.5 years, and so far I’ve tried some Vans half cabs and old skools. I also did some Nike SB Chron2, and Etnies Marana Michelin. My shoe journey this far.

I just bought the white/yellow NB# 440 highs. They’re so damn ugly, but I just couldn’t turn them down on offer.
They feel really good on my feet. They aren’t squishing my feet like the vans. (RIP pinky toe.) and they’re not as floppy as the Nikes. They’re cupsole, but still way grippier than the Maranas.
I get to skate them properly on Thursday, and am really looking forward to it.

I probably want to get some more, both for skating and chilling. Which ones are must try’s?
For skating I like a mid or high, and for just chilling I’d do anything. Prefer darker colorways.
[close]

I too am a dad & have my walking / work NB's & my skate NB's ... they're the only way to go

Glad to hear I’m not the only one. Cheers mate!

It's not a full part, but they just put out a little edit for the Justin Henry 440v2 highs. He's been one of my favorite skaters for a few years now, so I'm stoked that NB is giving him some well deserved recognition.

Few years ago.   He and Lay got on at the same time around the first 440 release
