Love how the Boss hides those puppies.
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

If the Boss is wearing his signature shoe it looks like it would be a midtop? Those tongues are massive lmao

I would be surprised and excited if his pro model was higher than a low top.

Would probably try it out.

He’s probably not intentionally hiding his shoes, cause his pro model is a low top.

NB# won’t show us the shoe, but they do show a silhouette, and it ain’t a mid or high top.

I know all the teaser ads, catalogue photos, ig posts, and delays will be forgotten once we finally see it.. but this hype campaign has gone from cute to annoying real quick.

What hype campaign? Hardly seen any hype about the shoe elsewhere apart from Slap.

Is there a known date the 1010s are going out of print?

1010's are still in the line for the foreseeable future and given that I've seen our line up to Spring 2026, it's still running for a while for us.

if NB# was going to build up hype again, they should do an interview with the people who designed the shoe to discuss the design and how the process worked, the legacy of Reynold's prior footwear, show off some rejected samples. The one thing I really enjoyed is when reynolds did that long interview when he first joined NB# and they also included some of the NB# people to talk about how the agreement came together. You could trickle bits of information about the product and discuss some details of the shoe without needing to show the actual shoe

Until I try a wide Reynolds shoe, the 1010 is my favorite NB shoe and it's not close.  The two suede with mesh top pairs I have fit like a glove, my leather top pair feels a tiny bit cramped on the sides though still very wearable.

The thing I want to ask about though is a newer pair, 1010 PW, feels a little lighter to me, maybe it's just the materials, though?  Not necessarily a bad thing either, just wondering.  Remember there being heel pod augmentation at one point and maybe some other tweaks?  I really have no complaints about the shoe though, it's insanely sick, and it feels really fantastic wearing them.  I've fully bought in with all the time we've had to think about what our feet need waiting for the 933.

My man. Appreciate the official information. This is my first pair of 1010s and love them so far. As far as a V2 goes, unless it is to update/fix the design/materials there's no need to change the shoe.

Definitely keen on a v2, love the 1010 but it's always fun to switch it up a little.

do you work at new balance? what model is the widest across the toe box? And any chance you could convince them to make a skate shoe in 5e or 6e width? New Balance offers this in some non-skate shoes but skate consumers are desperate for skate shoes with enough room in the toes

New balance could be the first to revolutionize the industry by offering skate shoes in this width

Okay I’m sorry NB, I take back what I said about the drawn out hype.  Damn… it actually kinda does look like a 993, mixed with an Emerica Reynolds 2.

Don’t look too narrow either, nice shape… if they have a flat footbed like the Franky instead of a stiff high arch like the Tiago and Foys, I’m sold.

I was excited for you all to dissect the shoe when I found out he got the cover in the 933's a couple days ago.  Enjoy!  I got a post coming next regarding the push out on the launch for these...hang tight.
