Reynolds with a "just the tip" teaser  ;)

I noticed that shoe tip too. But as far as I can tell, these could also be a lifestyle shoe from New Balance. But probably not and those are some grey 933's.

808 users I’ve read some reviews mentioning going up a half size for the rubber toe versions, can anyone shed more light on this? Debating a pair with the rubber toe cap. Thanks!

Go half size up on any current 808 model.

I think those are actually his shoe. The raised toe box looks similar to the brown ones he’s wearing in the cover photo. The runner toe looks the same as well!

X2, unless you really like super snug fit shoes that make you say "I shoulda go up .5"
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

I don’t really understand how shoe availability works as I skated Vans Old Skool (always available everywhere) for decades, so please excuse my ignorance. I am wanting to get 440 v2 wides and found very little available anywhere in size 12. Do they release on a cadence (like once a quarter)? How do y’all go about finding a specific shoe?

Correct, new colorways are released each quarter so like Jan 1 (around there), April 1, July 1 and Oct 1.  Sometimes they show up at stores early as our warehouse will ship out as needed but generally those are the launch dates.  Wides are really only ordered for NB.com and a few of the bigger retailers like CCS and Tactics, so they tend to go quick.  I did start ordering more stock of wides starting in like Q2/Q3 25 and beyond so hopefully the availability will be better in the future for you.

@rothdigga thanks for the explanation! I’ll start checking Nb.com and tactics in march in anticipation of the next release.

Tick tock tick tock .. Feb 1 tmrw!

Hoping the tongue isn’t too puffy / bulky overall. The toe pics have me thinking it’s a little high off the ground? Cliff toe etc

I would expect a similar silhouette to the emerica westgate. Edges look more rounded though on reynolds shoe

id be big into that. And I loved westgates 913….

Just fear for a serious “cliff toe” based on runners toe and toebox.

well, def not into that colorway.  looks like they tried to implement too many existing model's designs and came out with an AI-at-home version of a 1010/913

Maybe clear it with Roth or MiniGreek.   They do good things for people here and they’ve been intentional about no leaks before - but that could very well be different post Cover Reveal

ok sure. just tried to ask @rothdigga  before posting.

Any worries I had immediately gone on seeing pics - overly bulky, cliff toe/high off the ground forefoot. Nope. Look great. Flat bottom too. Not too narrow. A nice blend between mius and a 991 too. More approachable and wearable (that didn’t work for me) the 1010 too.

Thank god that was a watermark.   I kept thinking why Reynolds would have a dog cartoon on his sole

Oh yup that shoe looks like it's going to skate great. I bet it'll do well with the general population too, NB runners are super popular right now (I have two pairs myself) and those fit aesthetically with the 990 and above line. I'll probably cop a pair with black soles at some point.

Now if it were a mid or a high top... that would be my dream skate shoe

Really interested in what’s going on in the sole; looks kinda like they made it so you can see the internals so you don’t have to cut them in half to see what’s going on… maybe
