If the 933 quality matches the 990 series, then that's top value.

In my area 990's rarely get on sale below 160 EUR.
991v2 are my favorite go to shoe and those cost $250 so $130 isn’t bad for the skate version

I would greatly appreciate a list of EU shops where to get the 933.
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

I’m hoping the shops get some size 14s. Don’t need anymore shoes, but want to support NB# and Reynolds.

Kinetic is getting 14's and a 15

I like these,

I can't swing $130 for them. They remind me of what emerica was doing with the Westgate shoe.

Idk theres too much going on with Reynolds shoe for me. Probably going to stick with 808s (if the new ones are legit) and 440s for now.

$130 is cheaper than the original $145 mentioned on here, but close to that once you add on tax and potentially shipping. I'm definitely going to try them, but I can get 2-3 pairs of 600s for the cost so it likely won't be a staple unless they last a lot longer.

👍

After reading about the shoe I’m convinced enough to at least buy a pair to chill in. Interesting how they did dual density foam in a vertical fashion. The outer foam to the sides is stiffer which I’d imagine is to reduce ankle rolls.

I’m convinced these companies “leak” some shitty photo to get people to generally dislike the product so that when they put out promotional marketing info tour opinion can only go up.

I’m interested to see who on the team skates them. The cupsole guys on the team seem to gravitate towards tiagos or 440/480s so I wonder where this shoe will slot in for people.

Release date doesn't bother me - I'm looking forward to the discounting date when the joints will be at least 40-50% off.

Global logistics are painful, we're trying to get them to everyone as quick as we can.  Apoogies for those in EMEA that miss the 4/25 launch date but hopefully it won't be too much later for you.

Totally understandable and not the end of the world by any means. Will have to do my crappy 40 slappies videos on some 808 still as bday shoes. Not bad, forgot how much I love those.
PS: I read on IG that Boss said that 933 fit like 480. Valuable info.

Good to hear.

This was my biggest concern. There aren't any shops near me, so I have to order shoes to see how they fit.

Damn. I find the 480 very narrow, tippy, and ankle roll prone near the back end especially compared to something as stable as the 1010. Hopefully the reynolds is more like the latter. Don't really mind how the forefoot fits as long as the back is stable and a little on the wider side

If the 933 is as ankle rolly as the 480, I'm gonna be pissed.

Part of me would be relieved to know that the 1010 will remain the best option for me, since I have like 4 more of them mfs and they're a bit cheaper.

That being said the 933 does look better imo. I have a friend who's tried em and he said that they're a tad thicker than a 1010 but not as much as an 808. Sounds pretty good to me.

They did mention using dual density rubber and having a stiffer sidewall to contain your foot for ankle rolls, so hopefully its not like the 480. But thats useless if its still narrow af back there

That sounds amazing, specially because the shoe that works best for me are 808 but I got "bored" of it after skating so many pairs so I switched to 1010 that are not that good for me. Now with the OG 808 being replaced by 808l I'm terrified that I won't have my preferred shoe after so much pain and money spent.

I believe they said the 933 will come in a wide fit, right? Might be good for the people who find the 480 too narrow. Although I believe it's just the upper that's different for NB# wides, not the sole, so the stability thing may remain an issue for some.

Yeah, they come in wide sizes. Tactics has product pages for the two colorways.

I have a theory that the 933 was pushed from 4/18 to 4/25 bc this week employees’ had kids and they were doing spring break vacations
