No wide versions available in Europe. Just had it confirmed by NB via email.

They advised I could go through a resale market if I really wanted wides - lol

i guess that's one good thing about fake wide sizes, you can just buy a size up and pretend

I remember being 15 in 1999 and buying some Etnies that were on sale but two sizes too big as it’s all I could afford in the shop. Stuffed the toe with tissue paper and rolled hard with them for a while. Does New Balance support this customisation?

Kinetic still has some good sizes up At time I'm posting this

Seriously doubt that they do. Back in the Parade days, I had multiple orders go through them and each time they ended up not remotely having what I ordered. Dudes even sent me a completely different pair of shoes one time.

For over a decade they always do well with my online orders, even the few I did through Parade years ago. Now they have the little note on their products page letting you know how well in stock each size is so you got that transparency and one of the owners is a NB rep so they will still do right by you if you ever have something wrong with your order, esp if you reach out via email.

Same here in terms of positive experiences with online orders at Kinetic. Also @benkinetic is among us

Ben is great and Kinetic is an excellent shop.

I’m sure dudes are tight and all. But after multiple experiences of selling me things they didn’t have, not shipping for 10 days, me having to call and see what’s up, them taking forever on refunds, I’m good.

Failed miserably as expected.

I'll vouch for The Shack. Really great people there who really care about skateboarding. A cool shop in a place that's not easy to have a cool shop.

Got a pair of grey day 933 on thursday. Skated them friday and yesterday. The suede seemed to rip super fast on my pair for some reason. Did a total of maybe 40 kickflips. And had an eyelit problem as well but over all great shoe once it broke in

Got my hands on some non wide 933s. They definitely fit me better than the wides, which are still totally serviceable.

If you want a bit more width and volume in the toe/forefoot area, then the wides are great. But for me the regular ones are perfect and seem to be breaking in just a tad better too since my foot isn't moving around in the shoe ever so slightly as the shoe breaks in.

The wides I'm skating right now feel great. Once they break in they're really nice. Toe shape flicks a little better than the 1010s which are usually my go tos.

Not a fan of the insole though, personally need something that gives me some arch like in the 1010s. Plus if there's already going to be a substantial full length midsole, I'd rather have foam insole, even if the foam is quite dense.

The PU just doesn't work as well imo. Also didn't like those 480 insoles for the same reason, but these are better than those because there's a heel cup and none of that weird pattern.

Also wish the laces were a smidge longer, but its not a big deal.

I prefer them over 1010s in some ways and vice versa in other ways. Really good shoe though

It’s a 306 cup, but the little tweaks they made for the shoe highlight the best parts of the regular model. Really sick shoe

Starting to see the 808 Lite popping up on some IG stories. I am very, very interested in this shoe.

I have a pair. They are too small. For reference, I wear a 9 in the 480 and a 9.5 in the 440 and 1033. I got the black/gum 808 lite and they are too short. a 10 would probably fit better.

They also only have hidden lace loops on the outside so it looks really strange lacing it up with the lace protection. It also just feels lower quality. I had high hopes for that shoe but unfortunately, I will be returning them.

It is $15 cheaper.  You’d have to assume there would be some trade offs

I definitely expected some trade-offs with the price difference but at the same price point, the 600 is a better quality shoe IMO.

Oh yeah the 600 is a gem, but isn’t there a big difference sold wise?   Never tried the 808 in any capacity but heard it’s stiffer than the 933

Trade off is a better word.  I’m going to incorporate it

Wasn't fixing the sizing one of the reasons they revamped it in the first place?

Anyone else have any insight on the 808 Lite fit? 808 was interesting to me because of the sole construction, but it was too small even a full size up from my regular size. It was as if they formed it around a last that was shaped like a Dasani water bottle, rather than a human foot.

All they needed to change was a less dense sole or just keep them as they were. Bummed.

Tried the 933 on in the local shop and honestly, I was not feeling it. It was so tight around the forefoot, even a size up. They felt really soft in the heel which was nice, but I couldn't get over how narrow it felt overall, and other than the heel area, quite stiff. Might just keep my eye on it for later down the track

late to the party on this one but on the V2 440's, is it safe to say you can't remove the insole?  I run an orthotic and when I was in the store and it didn't seem easy.

It's easy to remove the insoles from them.

I just put some Superfeet insoles in my 440 v2 highs and they feel even better now. I love the shoe but the stock insole doesn't do much for it, at least in my opinion.

Has anyone had the problem when you put fp insoles in your nb shoes they become way stiffer. I've had that problem when I skated the 808 and with my 933 it was so stiff that I swapped back to the original insoles. I've never had that problem with any other shoes.
