Kingswell has some 933 in 8.5s and maybe 8 on their sale wall (launch brown and grey) and at least two black greens in 10.5

Little comparison of the 808 and 808 lites. Skated both today back to back. Both new. Note: I am old and suck, so take that into account. I had skated the 808s only once before this and the 808 lites never.

The lites feel like a less padded, less structured version of the 808, like a lite version(!) The tongue is less padded but otherwise as well. The sole is much more flexible. Boardfeel is surprisingly quite similar even though the lites feel quite different in the sole when walking around. My foot stays in place better with the 808 than the lites even with the top eyelet not laced on the 808 but laced on the lites.

I’ve been avoiding skating the 808 due to the lack of boardfeel but I didn’t seem to mind at all. Everything felt amazing on them and I could feel my feet just fine pumping around in the pool and doing slappies etc.

The lites are fine but I think I prefer the more snug and structured feel of the 808, which is unfortunate as I guess they’re phasing those out.

I’ve been having a massive shoe crisis lately, not even knowing what my size is anymore but now it seems that the 808 in size 10 is the answer to my issues. I guess I’ll check around online how many pairs I can still find and stock up.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the lites. I havent tried them myself but what I've read about them makes me a bit disappointed how they changed the og 808.

With Dunks being $120, and having nothing in the way of tech/padding, $130 is absolutely a fair price for these.

I have had the brown 933 in wide since release.
I can not for the life of me pop my tail with equal pressure to any other shoe I have.

I am starting to not like them due to all the material they added for a fat foot not a wide foot.

I wish I saw the blue tile video explaining that before I bought them, because no matter how thick a sock I wear my left foot slides around and jams toes.

Please be honest in your description new balance the soles on each model are the same exact width. You added more material so description would fit better if they said Fat/tall shoe not Wide . I need a wider sole like the 306 .

Also what happened to the main reason Reynolds came to new balance because he enjoyed the arch support???

Where did it go in this design?? I am wearing glamorized 420s bro!!

Sorry been a rough week..

damn, sorry to hear that.....

i had my own issues with the shoes fit- especially the grey days. they were really snug behind my toes/ in the mid foot and the insole did not feel like ANY arch support to me. with them being snug i first thought about the wides but them not being available in europe, well.....fixed the problem by putting in the 1010 stock insole and the shoes feel great!

when i tried them on i was aware that they do not fit my feet perfectly but i was kinda determined to make them work.
funny enough the whole bouncy sole thing to me felt like just being the insole after changing it.
with how stiff the sole is they remind me of the feel of DC mike mos or maybe the NB 533/ PJ's shoes

9on my second pair of 933. With the first pair they were stiff and i felt likeni was missing some board feel. I swapped insoles with 440v1 insoles and i gotta say once the shoe broke in it skates so good. So if anyone is having a hard time with the shoes sawp the insoles to something thinner/less dense than the stock ones. Youll love it

Same cw? Sounds not very likely that stiffness can be solved by changing an insole that already is pretty much nothing

I don't think the insole is nothing. Its not much thinner than any other New Balance Numeric cupsole insole, and instead of being a soft porous eva foam its a much stiffer denser PU similar to the 480 insole (which I also hate)

I also am not a fan of the insole in the 933s, think it actually makes you feel even more disconnected to the board and kinda 'deadens' the shoe connection a bit. I run some Powerstep orthotics in mine but even just putting a 1010 insole in makes it so much better. You already got a very good full length insole in there so cushioning will be great no matter what insole you put.

Also hate that there's no arch support in it and its just completely flat.

I'm a fan of my 933, took a minute to break in though. Flick feels better than the 1010 and I like the slight bit of extra cushion. But 1010 is better in some ways too.

First color was grey days current is greens. I swapped insoles the first day with the grey days and the same with the greens. Instantly felt better.

Anyone else having issues with the fit of the 440 v2 mid, specifically the brown and black color way? Bought a pair of 9s and they hurt after about 45 minutes of skating. Bought 9.5s and had the same issue. Have a pair of the lows in 9.5 and they fit great. Love the shoe but I can't wear them.

I've still got two pairs of the 440v1 on ice. Should I skate them or wait 'til I can get some decent dough for them on ebay? The latter might take 20 years, though, if ever.

J/k.

Kinda agree that the v1 was/is better. Gonna be bittersweet skating them.

I agree with this, swapped my 933 insoles for some 508 ones, the basic thin Ortholite insoles. Much better fit in my opinion, lot more board feel and still plenty of cushioning due to the sole thickness

No glazing here but the all black 933 could be the best looking shoe I’ve ever seen.

Despite my obsession with its eventual release I impulse purchased the new brown/blacks.  Still loving my olive/blacks too.

This isn’t very related but the all black 1010 with purple interior is possibly my favorite shoe of all time.  I’d love a re-up on that.  Don’t know what it was about those ones exactly but they fit and broke in amazing.  And like Drew said in one of those interviews, not everyone is looking for super colorful options.

im loving the black/olive from the first drop. i took a look at the  other colors (olive green, gray day, wheat) and the toes all have the mesh material which in my experience gets flimsy (had that in the 1010s) so ill get the brown color way next.
