Idk it’s def got me interested.   It’s a shoe that def works with some interesting designs.   I don’t think I’ve ever seen  colorway like that blue/brown one from last drop and it came out great

It is, the N and the heel are the same material, there’s like 6 different colors going on.

That does not seem like the heel of the shoe we saw yesterday.

I really like skating the 770 for a thicker cupsole, I think this review is pretty spot on.  https://www.weartested.com/nb-770/

Glad to hear 480 Highs are not going away. Although I’m not sure if they will be my go to shoe after wearing them just to feel them out once. I think I’m just not used to such a sturdy and supportive shoe since I haven’t worn anything like them since high school. Hopefully I’ll like them once broken in but that won’t be for at least 3-4 months from now.

Yep! They are sorta shockingly good. I thought the sole was gonna be slippery, but it grips really well, and the cushion and stability are great. The longer toe box took me a sec to get used to visually, but that's just a personal thing. Oh, and they are probably the lightest shoe I've worn in a while.

My favorite so far had been that brown blue pair from the last drop but these definitely take the top spot imo

Lottie's previous collabs with Vans had me thinking these would have his doodles all over the shoe but these are actually very understated which is nice. I hope they have a cool little drawing on the tougue tho.

It looks like there’s art to match the box on the insole, but no doodles. Though I’m ngl, Lottie did a custom 480 high for Reynolds that was a white/grey pair with his doodles all over it and I’d 100% be all over something like that.

They’re kind of like a different take on the beef and broccoli colorway that NB has done before, which I appreciate

Lotties Spanky Hi were all black, so it's safe to assume Lottie switches it up depending on the idea/brand/pro/shoe model he's collaborating with, which is nice! Like Spanky is known for his doodles, the both of them are also known for their understated simpler designs,  too

The bigger N is sort of wack but I mostly can't stand the fit of the V2. The V1 were my goldilocks shoe and the V2 skate a little weird, the toebox is too tall and baggy. This is only my experience, maybe most people prefer how the V2 skate. Ah well..

I prefer the V2 for those very reasons...I have fat feet and have broken toes in the past wearing shoes without enough toe room.

The V2 Vue is my favorite fitting shoe (don’t tell the 600s)

Oh cool - colorway in his stories reminded me of maybe a late 90s dc which I was digging.  Like the era just before wenning

I’ve noticed in a lot of the product photos there’s a piece missing at the Ollie hole area.   Models in hand imply the area with the stitching, but surprised to see they’re still presented with out them.   I think if it was a change late in the production process, it was a good change, though

Are you talking about the texture above the side of the toe to mimic other 933s? Interesting you mention that because based on when photos are loading in the back end of the site they’re photographing shoes out of the release batches for most of the time.

Right below the lowest loophole, there’s a half circle that in product photos is cut out, but in the actual shoes is a solid piece and the stitched half circle implies an Ollie area
