anyone skate 770s and have some input?
[close]

Yep! They are sorta shockingly good. I thought the sole was gonna be slippery, but it grips really well, and the cushion and stability are great. The longer toe box took me a sec to get used to visually, but that's just a personal thing. Oh, and they are probably the lightest shoe I've worn in a while.

How are they for pushing? I am looking for a cup sole that has a bit of bend for pushing. Sometimes I’ll wear running sneakers to skate a few miles, but my toe sometimes slides to the front of my shoe. Basically, does the sole bend more than a typical cup sole? Thanks.

I bought some, tried em on at home and they flex a lot more than 1010s and 933s out the box. Haven't worn them out or skated them so take this with a grain of salt, but based on my initial impressions, I'd say yes. One of my friends who gets new balances says they feel kind of like a vulc. I think he means in terms of flex, board feel and grip.

I think it was you selling a size 13 correct? I’m a size 12 but if they fit tight I may come back to you. No way I could look down and see white NBs. Be like wearing my dad’s kicks.

Yes. I would say they're TTS. Fairly roomy in the toe box compared to some more snug fitting NBs. And yeah they're the grand collection ones. Would happy to figure something out if you're interested in trying.

Send me pictures of your feet…

Seriously though, I’ll go to my local NB store which sells many different numerics and try on a 12 and a 13. I’m actually a 12.5 but skate shoes don’t do half sizes, as you know, over 12. Damn our Sasquatch feet…

Maybe in the new Thrasher.  Campaigns seem to be a 1-2 weeks out from release.  Don’t see this getting “brand new shoe” level of marketing, but foy hasn’t dropped footage in a bit so I’m hoping for a part

Soty trip video was 7 months ago and full of soty level clips. I love that Foy has produced at a rate in his career where 7 months of no parts and people feel the void.

I feel like we've already had an all black 1010??
It's been out 5 years so plenty of colorways have been explored. Identical ones with alternative details do feel like repeats but aren't, also I guess

There was an almost all black 1010 but there were purple details on it.

Jep, one or two years ago, still have them in my stash!

Bit off topic but i wish they‘d redo the first drop black colorway with the grey sprinkles and also the beef and broccoli but with a mesh toe

Who has a leak on the next 440 mid colorways? Skating my last pair right now, went looking at whats out there and I'm not feeling the current colorways that are available in my size.

UN440HTW sea salt/white was on the Q2 stuff, maybe what you’re referring to? Very clean with a gum bottom.

Na this was Q1 2026 I'm almost positive. But if I understood it correctly from the shop employee, the colors weren't absolutely finalized like there could be minor tweaks before the drop. At that time I saw the final drop of 2025 for the 440 in the beef/broccoli and that matched exactly to when those dropped in late fall.

That blue is clean but I just cant do the black soles. Thats why I didn't grab the beef and broccoli. I guess I'm gonna have to skate the white 480's I bought to hold out for the white 440 mid in Q2

Ah yeah definitely might have just gotten swapped into another season, my buddy showed me the promo his shop got that I assume accompanied the orders and this was the 440 high for Q2 (not sure why this made it to Pinterest from freestyle shop 😂)
