They're also some of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. Love the look, hate the feel.

The toebox cramped and hurt my toes to the point where I could notice them bunching up, insole is paper thin, midsole and sole are so hard and unsupportive. Felt like I was walking on a thin layer of wood every time I wore them.

Wasted my money when I should have just bought the 933.

I’m not trying to be negative, but why didn’t you just return them or exchange for a bigger size?

Ryan Lay’s got a new 480 CW in his last YouTube video. These aren’t either of the Q2 colorways so maybe it’s something special? Any guesses?

Looks like they’re a collab with Slow Impact

Big month for AZ colorways.   I like this better

I’m forcing myself to get Deshawn’s even though snakeskins not my jam, cause fuck yeah Deshawn. But these are miles better, but I’m already hearing rumors they’re exclusive to Slow Impact.

They are my size, tried them on to be sure. The leather just wouldn't budge and wear in at all and had a few pinch points which I didn't realise immediately.

No, very small run.  Available at Slow Impact event in person OR at Cowtown starting this Friday.  Cowtown will have them in store and online.

They finally located them.  I'm just working through a few logistics pieces before getting them available for shops to buy into.  That one was a nightmare as it hit at the exact same time as we moved warehouses.

I think this was an in an IG story - but IIrC the Slow Impact 480 will be cheaper AT slow impact than it will be at Cowtown.

Hola, @rothdigga or anybody else here have any info on why they changed the tongue on the Westgate 508? Maybe the laces changed too, not sure.

I really liked the exposed foam on the 508, sewing it up didn’t change the shoe’s feel obviously but curious about the reasoning?

I think the 508 is my favorite shoe to skate, which is unfortunate for my feet because it has almost no cushion. Idk how the hell Westgate does Westgate stuff in them without crazy heel bruises.

$80 for the Slow Impact 480s at the event was lowkey one of the most satisfying purchases I’ve made in quite a while. They fucking killed it with that colorway

We actually had some people confused on the exposed foam thinking it was a defect, enough times where it just made sense to sew it up and keep it like our other tongues.  I liked the aesthetic but ultimately isn't really a performance thing and just kind of a cool add-on that it could do without.

I love Tom knoxes. I've skate one pair and bought 2 other pairs just to chill in because they are super comfy yet on the slimmer side.

I ve skated them and they are my fav of the NB vulc options (havent skated franky shoe tho).  they arent as fortified as the Foy vulcs, but i am like the ‘princess and the pea’ when it comes to vulcs with a rubber layer under the toe (i dont like how it feels restrictive on my toes).  574 vulcs have the same sole as the updated 272s, but again, the 574 upper has the mesh which feels better on my precious toes.  they last comparable
to any other vulc shoe, maybe a even a little longer.

I also triple love the 440 (high) but opposite issue for me; I've tried on the 600 (and felt... meh?) but never skated. With few exceptions I'm a high-top only dude. A lesser issue is colorways for the 600, which I've found also with the 1010, in that maybe 2-3 of the 200 released I find appealing.

I'm jumping in on this. As someone who's skated vulcs their whole life it's the first proper cupsole that I've actually felt comfortable in and I love them. I think I can count the amount of times I've worn a different pair of shoes over the last year on one hand. I keep a couple of nice pairs for when I need to not look like crap, a pair to skate in, and an old skated pair for if the weather is bad and I'm going to be trudging through mud or something.

I was tempted to try the 440, 1010 or 480 to see if they're better, but I don't think it's worth it because I can't think of any way I'd improve the 600.

Can anyone help compare 1010 and Fastbreak and 600?  Is the 600 as wide?  Can’t find a pair in my size near me so I’ll need to order some online from a shop.

Definitely curious about the 600 but not even entirely sure I need a new shoe.  Might just have to grab a triple black 1010CR before it sells out.

For me the 1010 when it’s the right colorway and materials is incredible, but I like Fastbreaks sometimes for more boardfeel.  That might be as close to vulc as I can go.  I would try the 440 but fear they’re narrow (from what I hear) and too similar to the feel of Fastbreaks.  But they have Abzorb which I really like in the 933 and 808.  480s seem too polarizing to get into but the Lay review has tempted me again.  Missed out on a ton of 480 high deals in waiting though haha.

Based off other’s experiences, I have normal feet and the only shoes I’ve been unable to even put on were the Ishod 1s.

Never not going to recommend 600s, but I would say the 600 is more snug than the fast break.   Fast breaks are one of the roomier shoes especially in the toes that I’ve had, which is nice, but i also really dig the more fitted feeling in the 600.  1010s probably roomier in the toes and all around, but I’ve been wearing 933s so much I kinda forget the fit of the 100s
