Probably won’t post right bc it’s a reel but those pier 7 1010s are so fucking good and Curtin makes so many models look killer
Man those do look really good. Initially I wanted the green on the outsole to also be the color of those cuts around the heel where it says Fuelcell and on the sides where it's white (like the orange on the phantom gray/black 1010s I love and own) but I like it either way.

I foolishly thought that green sole was glow in the dark at first glance

All this wedding talk makes me remember billy marks wearing a beanie to his own wedding.

I guarantee there’s a pair of all black troopers on foot. Take notes everyone

The amount of homie help from Florida in the industry is astounding.
Jamie Foy must be really hooking everyone up, pretty sick.
That being said, all the 306C colorways have been booty except the all blacks, which is borderline line cook vibes.

Yeah the 868. Feel like it was a popular one with the team (Tom Knox and Tyler Surrey skated them a lot) but I'm guessing the average skater wasn't as interested in the tech look/feel when they were out.

I got a pair of the Bronze 868s on eBay for $40 recently. I loved the 868 when it was in production. But now, after NB has released so many really good and great cupsole models, the 868 didn’t do it for me. Sole is too stiff, cushioning is minimal. I feel like their designs have come a long way in the years since the 868 was out and I’m happy there are so many good options right now.

Yeah I agree, the 868 was dope for its time but these days it definitely lacks in comparison to the 1010 or their other more technical models. The 913 feel better than the 868 imo but it still pales in comparison to their current line up.

I remember Jason saying that it won't happen since, of I remember correctly, that mold and factory where it was made is gone.
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

anyone have any weird experiences with sizing on the 440 wide highs? the brown pair i had fit well but the blue pair feels massive, i think they're all the same materials, was one pair a defect?

I've had multiple pairs of multiple sizes of the same colorway of 440V2 lows (but not the same as the ones you're referring to), and the inconsistency in fit was wild. I had 12s that fit and 12s that were too small. So then I bought a couple 13s. One of those pairs felt great, one still felt too small. So then i went up to 14s (which is absurd for me) and one pair fit just slightly too big, the other pair were enormous.
I now treat NBs like I do Dickies - absolutely cannot trust ordering these online because the variability in sizing is too much.

^^ interestingly, i had the opposite experience. Been on 440v2 for about 1.5 -2 years now and high or low all fit well in the same size

This gives me hope I'll be able to wear 1010s in my 'true' size at some point. The 12s I have now are just a hair too small and pinch my toes but 13 would be way too big

Not with the 440s but I had that several times with the 600s. I own 2 pairs, white leather and olive green. Those fit well but not as well as the launch colorways. Then I tried the 600 Lost Art ones and those fit way different. At least in my usual 7.5 size.

Any news about new colorways of the 480 high?
Been skating the Hi and the fit is much more better than the lows where I feel some heel slip.

Murdered out black to the floor 480 High coming for Q3 26, so probably mid-June or early July.  Hang in there for a couple months and that one will hit.

Will they land in Australia? None of the previous 480 highs have made it out here.
