Gerwer is too funny. Sick to see all those older Anti-Hero decks, I would love to find his first pro deck.

Frank's probably the only guy in skateboarding that I'll gladly watch talk about bullshit on a street corner all day.

Gerwer and Gall... best interviewees.

Got really exited and thought Gall had already done one of these... hopefully soon.

Great interview. Shout out to Number 9 for selling me boards at cost when I was trying to run a skate shop out of a local bookstore even though I kept flaking on sending the tax info to them. Best boards I sold in retrospect.

It's insightful to see him be so candid about stuff like kick flipping Wallenberg. His reaction to making it is priceless.

Frank sent me a post card in '09 with a drunken self portrait on it. I recently found it again and DM'd him the picture on instagram, telling him that if my house burnt down it'd be one of the things I'd try to save. He got stoked and asked me for the new address and I didn't have the heart to tell him that my house didn't burn down, but he sent me a postcard with a drawing of a house burning and a guy running out of it. Really rad dude.

Met him in Albuquerque at alamosa park. Asked if I could buy spits off him and he agreed for ten dollars. Went to the ah van to get em and Trujillo n stranger were wasted and pissed that I wanted to buy wheels. "We're here to skate not sell wheels". Whatever it was still a memory. And TNT had 53s and gerwer didn't so he sold me those with a Budweiser tallcan in hand.

When Fourstar recently came through Denmark, and I had no idea they were, I randomly met the guys at a local spot. I talked a bit with Carroll, then I saw Gerwer and I think I muttered something along the lines of "Hey Frank.. I think I kind of love you, you're the shit." I felt really weird, so I just cruised home, saying "Hi, Rick (Howard)" as I passed him. Still feel sort of strange thinking about it and what went through Gerwer's mind. Strange day in little Kolding, DK.
