Agreed, they also had Jamie Thomas banned during his peak (due to something with a DLX's higher ups girl). Thrasher legendary but tons of questionable decisions have been made, there the leader right now because they embraced online parts very quickly and seem to get the best content due to there close connection with certain brands.

Phelps is an institution. Controversial, but still a force in skateboarding. If you've been around forever eventually you'll say some things that don't match up.

In the later years of Big Brother, Dave Carnie wrote extensively about his time living with Mic-E Reyes and described him as a "bad lieutenant" type. There's also a Mic-e ride-along cop video in the Cardiel Epicly Later'd episode. Maybe he didn't take bribes, but he was clearly crooked.

I heard that too actually.
I could be wrong but I'm almost 99% sure I saw Danny Gonzalez in a commercial a few years ago.  Did anyone else here catch that?   I can't remember what the commercial was for though, but I know it wasn't a skateboarding advertisement.
