Dear SLAP community,

Last evening my wife Ginny and I met with the city of Lebanon, NH City Council and got their unanimous approval to name the public skatepark - Rusty Berrings Skatepark and Riverside Community Park In memory of Tyler S. Kirschner.

After my remarks - there was not a dry eye in the house - the entire City Council and the Mayor of Lebanon, NH were all weeping.. it was an electrically charged / emotional moment..The City Council video tapes their meetings and hopefully I can get a copy to post on the Facebook page Remembering Rusty Berrings - https://www.facebook.com/rusty.berrings/

Although this may seem like a small and insignificant thing - it means so much to my family and me - hopefully we will have a gathering with the unveiling of the signage..

It's awesome to see it's done. Hopefully the park is coming up nicely, too. I've read the document and sounds promising. Rusty Berrings is a great name for a skate park, period, even if you never heard of Tyler. It's sure to pique the curiosity of people later on.

Thanks for the stickers buddy.....I made a point to go and pass some out at the world freestyle championship......I was gonna get a photo with world champ Gunther Mokulys....with me in my shirt...but he was giving me that.....'can't you see...I am zee best freestyler in zee world and I am eating ziss inferior Canadian Apple' vibe.....
