P-Rod's lady tries to learn how to kickflip

This is actually kind of sick. So the story goes that before Paul went on a recent 11-day Canada tour they somehow got into a bet whether or not she could learn how to kickflip during the 11 days he was gone. If she did it, Paul would have to buy her a nice purse. If she didn't do it, she had to buy Paul $100 worth of cigars.

She sort of came close. Landed on a few upside down which is further than I got within the first 6 months I started skating. She also experienced multiple shinners.

We'll see if she ends up doing it within the 5 day extension. I kind of hope she does. Based on where she's at, it shouldn't really be that big of a hurdle.



Reminds me of this video of some random jock learning how to kickflip in 6 hours with deliberate practice.

But seriously, that was actually pretty rad that she even committed to the challenge at all. She learned how to ollie pretty quickly too; it definItely took me quite a while to get those down when I was a kid just learning.
