@pugmaster I'm almost embarrassed at how much side aching laughter this one has brought me every day since January and I will always love you for it <3

Yeah same. And one of the Aussie posters said something about "blitzed tradie 3am at the casino glasses" oh fuck I couldn't stop laughing because it's so true.

Ugh this take is so dumb and I’m sick of hearing it.

“Oh yeah if we want to consider our community inclusive, we have to welcome all viewpoints.“ So if your viewpoint is hateful, racist, and xenophobic, we have to embrace and accept you in the name of inclusivity? Fuck outta here with that shit.

Skating isn’t inclusive these days. Contests specifically for certain sexual orientations and even whole “private” skate sessions at public DIYs where they ask you not come. Who in their right mind thinks that’s okay

damn you are really in your feelings because you couldn’t go to the women/non-binary skate meetup at your local lol this thread is devolving quickly

i think i heard repeatedly tom is married to that woman that was sort of his handler for a while because he is too fried to function normally and they actually fell in love or something. and seeing that he was skating a lot more the last ten years and looks happy and well for the most part in clips might be part of that. i think you can even see her in a few of his clips, getting stoked on tom getting tricks. it's actually really wholesome if true.

Not to turn a meme thread into some serious discourse but that power dynamic not seem that wholesome.

My penance for potentially derailing the thread is this OC

Yeah I have heard the same thing. In the 90s, the default cool guy personality in Chicago was asshole so the stories made sense to me.
