Love me some footprints, use them whenever I skate with and in every non-skate footwear (two sets I swap out).

Really interested in the sole...tech they are using =D

Also, "OJ Wheels is hands-down the skater?s wheel of choice" out of touch much?

"The outsole is coupled with a midsole that stays in a liquid-like state while cruising, and then becomes solid upon impact."

sounds pretty nifty

I just hope Joey Brezinski isn't the main pro.

Tracer is right (what am I doing).
"Footprint shoes" sounds bad to beggin with and that sole doesnt even look like it has the right shape. The tread is shallow as hell too. Then the bad goodyear ripoff logo they have going. I say they should stick to insoles.

It's nice that they still wanna develop in this but starting a shoe line might be too much.. What they should do is sell a licence of their insole/outersole to brands like lakai and etc so that they can compete with the big guys who promote lunarlon, ultracush and what not.

Also shops do not need another shoe brand on their wall and footprint, regardless on how good the soles may be, might not sell due to the team and the shoe itself.

Hopefully their shoes aren't a filament v.2

Totally agree with this. Also SKATAN the shallow tread was the first thing I noticed.
I love Footprint though, can't skate without them. But they should seriously just stick to insoles. It's what they do best.

Called it in another thread. I seriously doubt a brand would be this ridiculous to show up to Agenda without any actual real product. It's gotta be a marketing strategy so that someone offers big bucks to use their tech and prevent them from becoming competition. Plus, that outsole can't be serious it has too many flaws.

You guys are giving a lot of credit to yet another forgettable skate brand gimmick. This is no different than a "new technology" deck that might work but nobody cares about and it falls off the market. This is some bullshit nobody will buy and will disappear.

I wish the best for Footprint, and love the insoles, but I really don't like the idea of them branching out to shoes. It would be one thing if they could just made some flimsy vulcs, a clunky cupsole and call it a day, but no matter how well they push the high technology angle, it's still going to be expensive. The idea of licensing and partnership is tits, though, would be the ideal scenario in my eyes.

As others have said, licensing seems like the way to go.  I specifically buy trail running shoes and boots that have a Vibram outsole and would happily pay an extra $5 to get a footprint sole (assuming its good) on some Lakai's

What I find odd, is the liquid state to solid on impact, sort of like the kingfoam insoles...redundant much?
