Can't understand why you'd like the nine club and not like the bunt

I've only listened/watched a couple of nine clubs so maybe it's changed but Chris Robert's never seemed prepared, he never knew as much about the guests as he should. Chris also seems really stupid too which doesn't help. Roger is just such a loser, come on. Kelly just laughs.

Cephas and Donno are hilarious and aren't afraid to have an opinion! That's the difference between the two. Nine club is just yes men agreeing with everything.

The bunt have had a who's who of skateboarding so far and show no sings of letting up. Presumably one day though they'll have interviewed everyone and they'll have to slow down the frequency of episodes quite a lot.


And anyone that hates on their gangsta slang, it's clearly all tongue in cheek and good humored!

Honestly, I can't fucking stand the hosts of the Bunt. I'm happy it exists and I still listen to it on occasion when they have the right guest, but it pretty much has nothing to do with them. 1 of them is particularly irritating, but I don't know which one it is.

You're not completely wrong about Chris Roberts not always seeming prepared, but his relationship with many of his guests make it so that I don't think he needs to, at least in my opinion. I have to admit, the fact that he's in my age range probably makes him more aesthetically pleasing to listen to for me (NOW GET OFF MY LAWN!)

Also, I had no idea Jamie Tancowny still existed.

Buscemi was fine by me but that was because it appealed to special interests of mine namely design, manufacturing and marketing. I can see why this wouldn't appeal to everyone.

We need a Tony Tave Bunt episode. Jamie mentioned he threw down some shit on a pretty heavy gap recently during the interview. Not sure why TT has been blackballed from the industry... His skate style was always acceptable and the shit he does and continues to do is pretty insane. I could imagine him being like Smolik jr.

I didn't listen to it yet but I feel like quitting zero for le (money wise) isn't too crazy.  wasn't black box shutting down at the time and le had distro through blitz and element at one point.  yeah the brand is not doing too hot now but with those backers and nick being on top of the skate world at the time I could see how someone easily switches. Unfortunately the "baker" formula didn't work for em.

My guess is their parents probably spoke that way growing up and thats where they picked it up. Its a "like father like son" situation. I'm from Appalachia and a lot of kids here don't make any sense, but they're not usually as intellectually deficient as they sound. They can't spell the word "hello" but they can build a truck out of twigs, rocks and muds.

I REALLY want them to interview some fucking Canadians (I know Tancowny is, but he basically insn't at this point). The best Bunt interviews (for the most part) have all been Canadian skaters. Guaranteed anyone on DIME would give us a better Bunt interview than Daryl Angel or some of these American pros ... Leave Prod and those dudes to the 9 Club...
