The sole on my Pumas I was skating tore open, so I started skating some Reebok Club C Revenge. So far they feel really good. Super cushy but good boardfeel still. A pretty ideal cupsole actually.

I was super bummed that happened to my Pumas but I'm pretty stoked on these Boks, so I guess it all worked out.

I almost got a pair of these recently. Now I'm bummed I didn't.

I actually love the look of those shoes but they're nowhere to be found for under $200

When I first saw these 2 years ago I would have bet that skateboarding fashion would have gone more this route (Dylan, neo from matrix, slick all black) instead it has gone the hypebeast memberberries route.

Obvious disclaimer: I am not cool. What the fuck. The shoes could be sick but the person wearing them, the tricks....fuck. Fuck.

i think adidas should make a skateable version of the nite jogger. i think this silhouette and the paneling could look super good on a skateable sole.

I think those were skate shoes back in the day no?

My contribution today:

It’s like HUF shoes that actually look good but cost 250 bucks.

I had the grey/yellow white(?) colorway.  That had to be like 2000 or so.

I know the dress shoe wasn’t everybody’s cup of tea, but I can’t say the current state of affairs is necessarily good

No good skate shoes in my size on the Adidas sale but I got these for chillers. If they’re not too clunky and break in nicely I’ll definitely skate them at some point. Strap is probably coming off regardless as well.

The Forum Low for anyone wondering. I feel like I have seen someone get a clip in these but I'm not sure.

"The Adidas Forum was a beacon of innovation when it comes to restructuring a basketball model into three different collar heights. The high-cut, mid-cut, and low-cut was first observed with the Forum when it was first released in 1984. Even the famous Michael Jordan wore these during the Olympic trials in the same year. I had a pair of those forever ago. With navy stripes. I think I took the velcro off as well. Don't remember them being conducive to skating or I probably would have gave them a shot.

Those Hogans actually look really sick, except I wouldn't want people thinking I'm wearing Hufs haha.

Oh fuck. I love white leather. Those white/black lows are amazing, actually a colour I really wanted. Honestly may be the first shoe I've paid full retail for in decades, and I might have to buy two.

Pro leathers skate super good too. Not exactly breathable, but they are a dope, soft, cupsole. I like the flick quite a bit.

I skated them and as you say, they were really stiff and stayed that way. all-black for that orthopedic steez.
