Anyone tried skating regular Adidas campus In the last couple years?
[close]

No, but I have some on the go as chillers right now, and plan to skate some once the snow clears up. But I can safely say after 26 years of skating, they're good. I've been on the board and rolled with my newer ones and they seem as grippy as any skate shoes. Overall the upper and tongue are very deconstructed, there's not much to it, but I like that in a shoe.

Dope i had just ordered a pair when I posted that question.. see if I guessed my size .. damn Adidas sizing

Mine feel TTS for sure. Same size I wear in Vans, Nike, etc. Let us know how they feel once you skate them.

Hey, Reebok made the Lakai Staple

I've had these as my nice white pair of shoes for at least 4 or 5 years now (under 10 wears a year). I've stood on my board and they feel like they'd be great to skate in. I prefer vulcs and dont like how the middle of the sole cuts out (for skating) but theyre comfy and the leather is high quality! They took a while to break in though

I tried them on next to some Club C's. They feel more budget for sure, but no worse quality than a skate brand leather shoe. The Club C's feel SUPER nice though.

The sole is thicker on the Heredis, but still feels skateable. the tread pattern is more skate friendly than the workouts as well, a nice herringbone type deal. My heel didn't feel overly high and vulnerable, not that different from a Busenitz pro iirc.

I might have a go tbh. The only thing is there's a fair amount of vertical space in the midfoot, but there's always a bit too much room in shoes there for my liking.

Weird, I tried those on and they were super cheap feeling, and don't look good once laced up. Maybe they're better in smaller sizes (like most shoes).

I'm currently skating some Royal Techque T's, which are very similar to Club C's but with a better sole for skating. They feel far less quality than all the Sole Tech shoes I'm used to skating, but fun to try out (they were $39 at Winners). Needed loads of glue 5 minutes into the first session - same as Club C's - but that was to be expected since they're not made for skateboarding.

for those who don't want to wait for the AA authentic highs, these seem pretty close (and actually look better imo)

Damn those are actually kinda fresh. Wonder how they'd skate? The sole looks a little thick.

More importantly, searching for them led me to these vintage Nike Court Force shoes:

Now that would be a sick shoe for them to make.

Just got a hole in my Reebok Revenge Club, next session switching to Campus OG. The sole is off white which I am not stoked on, but you can't tell too much when you're wearing them. And they feel amazing just wearing. Super high quality material. Gonna be fun to wreck. Brown Dickies and I'll be imagining I'm Brian Lotti while skating nothing even remotely close to as stylish as him.

These seem like they would skate really well! There’s a low top version as well, but has way more mesh on it. :/ Converse Rivalry

I have these in this color and they feel comfortable. Hoping  they hold up to skating. I’ll try to skate them soon and provide updates if anyone is interested.
Also, normal fastbreaks (non CONS) in all suede (if you can find them) seem to be another good option.

I would love to hear your input on them once you’ve skated them for a bit. Contemplated getting them but never pulled the trigger on em.

Get back to us! I've seen the Rival low/mid around and always been curious. It's supposed to be an updated Fastbreak.

Not really feeling that Rival shoe but like that it has the thicker chevron on it. Awhile back Converse changed all of the chevrons on the logo to be skinnier at the point than they are at the ends. Definitely don't think it looks as good.

Got a pair of these Pro Leathers from the Converse site last week, and love them but definitely think they would look better with the OG chevron:

Pro leathers are dope and I should get some. Skate very well.
