In all fairness, if the clarification is true, no one does owe Chase an apology.
Basically no one-
-Did the research without finding out the whole story
-Asked a poorly researched question that he didn't really get
-Got an awkward answer from a kid who just got put on the spot about being sexually assaulted
-Decided to put it in the episode without context or clarification despite the fact that the show is heavily edited already
-When asked about it claimed "you don't know the whole story" as if clarifying a story of sexual assault is some inside baseball/ industry secret that he is privy to and we can't be, rather than the kind of story that should immediately be clarified and put to rest.
-Allowed the story to grow, genuinely damaging the kid's reputation in skateboarding
For a dude who talks up what a serious journalist he is, he sure lacks any journalistic integrity.
