I have a group chat with my friends on instagram and a few months ago my friend shared something from the berrics with chase in it to which i replied "want to see me get blocked by the berrics?" or something like that. I don't remember exactly what I commented, but it was along the lines of "Chase Gabor sodomized his neighbor with a screwdriver #neverforget" and it took Berra about 10 minutes to reply with this.

I still have the message in my inbox and the date was November 10 of last year. I don't believe any of his bullshit and he still hasn't addressed anything like he said he would.

Wow. I never saw that.

Dude, I hope that's true. If it's not, that is so fucking wrong on countless levels.

If I was being accused of sexual assault, when in truth it happened to me, I'd immediately do some sort of interview and set the record straight.

This reeks of some sort of Scientology cover up move.

"Chase didn't rape anyone, in fact, Chase got raped. He was tricked into this false confession by the vicious no one."

Well fuck...so this is all no one's fault for trying to sabotage the dude or being too dense to realize how people would react to a revelation of childhood screwdriver rape. Now we have the FULL STORY.

chase tells weekend buzz he was the perpetrator, berrics says he was secretly the victim. i want a testimony from the other party involved in this anal shanking incident. is it too late for a rape kit?

Wonder if Chase always appears that uncomfortable, or did he see that sign before they filmed it.

Is that weekend buzz still up? I couldn't find it just now.

Id be uncomfortable if i was wearing a size extra small bears jersey all the time

Ya know, it makes me wonder. If he was willing to talk about shoving a screw driver up somones ass, how terrible must the other stories be that he declined to talk about? Unless this dudes just a genuine clueless fuck. I understand people make mistakes in life and im sure hes really sorry and regrets it. But im sure dude was at least 25-26 when this interview was done, where in his right mind did he think THIS would be a good story to share. Blows my mind.

^ I believe that's called sepsis, and it kills you
obviously no one did it to him
In all fairness, if the clarification is true, no one does owe Chase an apology.
Basically no one-
-Did the research without finding out the whole story
-Asked a poorly researched question that he didn't really get
-Got an awkward answer from a kid who just got put on the spot about being sexually assaulted
-Decided to put it in the episode without context or clarification despite the fact that the show is heavily edited already
-When asked about it claimed "you don't know the whole story" as if clarifying a story of sexual assault is some inside baseball/ industry secret that he is privy to and we can't be, rather than the kind of story that should immediately be clarified and put to rest.
-Allowed the story to grow, genuinely damaging the kid's reputation in skateboarding
For a dude who talks up what a serious journalist he is, he sure lacks any journalistic integrity.

At the end of the day though nobody was forcing Chase to tell the story.  And assuming what JBs post says is true,  the fact that chase said he did it to somebody else was completely on him.  Yeah I don’t think it was right for no one to put him on the spot but all Chase had to do was keep his mouth shut and say “pass” like the rest of these stories he didn’t want to talk about. Obviously no one and Erica didn’t see that coming at all and I think if they did then they would have never brought it up in the first place.

Oh yeah so instead of answering "Where the fuck did you hear that? or "I'm not answering that question.", our poor little Chase froze on the spot and made up a lie where he got to be the assaulter for once.  Then hid out for a few years and never clarified said lie, just waiting for daddy Berra to step up and set the record straight.  Ok sure.

“Woulda have/should have” is a really weird finger to point in this situation. The problem isn’t how he panicked and answered, the problem is he was blindsided with a question about basically being raped when he was a kid, and then it was left in the show to air out to the world.

no one is a fucking idiot.

2) Even if they didn't see it coming, its a heavily edited show, and they chose to keep it in after he said it
Either no one uncovered an assault he isn't comfortable uncovering, or no one started a damaging rumor due to lazy journalism that he never cleared up. Its not a good look.

Fair enough.  I find it hard to believe that Chase’s brother would tell no one to ask him about that though and put him on the spot in front of thousands of viewers about him being sexually assaulted. That part just doesn’t add up to me. Unless if his brother is a huge piece of shit or something.

He's always fucking up. Laughs about a story where Chris Cole throws a bike pump at his wife. Puts somebody on camera who is either the perpetrator or victim of sexual assault, and fucking laughs about it. Refuses to discuss or take responsibility for that lovely little piece of "journalism". Dude latches onto national tragedies for sympathy and to promote his fucking candle brand.

Where was that proud anti-nazi voice during the Jason Jessee conversation, no one? Since you're such a caring and morally superior "journalist", I would've thought you'd be all over these types of conversations?

Side note, can we please stop calling the dude a journalist, even if it’s facetious like “journalist”? It’s all he wants in the world and I feel like any use of the world is validating to him.

You briefly did a skateboard interview show, where no one turned in to see you, it was the guests. Your views would have been the same if the host was a broken vacuum cleaner.

In all fairness it was Erica that asked the question, and she asked it very vaguely with "Tell me about the screwdrivers in your childhood". For all we know the grandparents could have simply said "Ask chase about the screwdrivers in his childhood" without telling them the story or anything. no one has said that he has no control over the editing so if anything the editing department should have know to edit that out and obviously didn't think anything of it when they put the caption at the bottom "Which end would you choose" like it was funny. The whole thing is fucked and it was handled pretty poorly on everyone's side. I understand that they were probably trying to keep the show going and probably didn't realize the severity of what they were taking about while they were talking about it. The only person that kind of seemed uncomfortable was Rowley. They did eventually edit the scene out in the ride channel page and the longer they keep delaying the "misunderstanding" only makes what "- SB" said look like bullshit. Also Chase seems to always be sweating/glistening anytime he comes out on camera

It seems unlikely that Chase's friends / family would suggest interview questions about him being sexually assaulted. Why would he refuse to answer all of the other sketchy questions involving his behavior toward women, but only discuss the one about homosexual screwdriver rape?

Admitting to a violent crime seems like a bad way to cover up the fact that you were a victim of such a crime, especially when you could just pass on the question, much like he did with the ones about women. "I raped the neighbors kid with metal tools" probably wouldn't be my go-to lie for any interview question.

Of course Berra and Xenu want to head this one off before it gets any farther than it has. How funny was it that the Berrics posted two articles about Nazi supporter Jason Jessee's transgressions, knowing that the discussion originated in the same forum where it's well known that Berra (and SLS) keep a screwdriver rapist on payroll.
