He had no problem dodging like 4 questions prior to that one, he could have simply said I don’t wanna talk about that like the other questions. Also the way he responded made it seem like he had no problem sharing that.

Jokes aside, Chase and Steve have every means necessary to clear the air about this.

If Chase's story is the true one, then he should address the situation is a more serious manner. Skateboarding is a crazy thing. It attracts crazy people. We all want to fit in. Chase tells what he thinks is an outrageous, wacky story to his fellow skaters. He obviously doesn't understand the serious consequences of being the perpetrator of this act nor the feelings of the victim. It's more than just a wild prank amongst wild people.

If Steve's story is the true one, then yeah, Rob and Erica need to address this. My problem is that it doesn't really add up. It doesn't feel right that if they were told he was the victim, then went on the show and he said that he was the aggressor. Then they aired that anyway. Not saying that anyone on the Ride Channel is deeply concerned with 'journalism.' Not saying that they are total irresponsible morons either.

I could buy that Chase was traumatized as the victim, then nervously blurted out the reversal. Maybe I'm naive to being a victim of this, but I would think rather come clean as the victim instead of continue to be known as the abuser. Steve alludes to this being addressed but I think that would be brought up anytime this subject is. This is the first time I've heard of this. I'm just not buying it.

Guys, the berra DM wasn't a press release. If he really was going scientology on it, he would have pushed back on the story as publicly as it was exposed.
If he was going friend of a child sexual assault victim on it, he'd probably quietly send a DM to the person who posted about it.

Has Berra or Chase posted or made public of "what's already been out there"? This is the first I'm hearing of it. The idea that Ride Channel brought this up to embarrass the Berrics for being a competitor is wild conjecture at best. Chase's only family/friends provided that information and no one/Yary had no idea what he would say (the only reason this is even a topic is because he told a national audience that he sodomized a child).

Sending a private message to explain this is also puzzling. Berra obviously does not know the person personally and should assume that this information would become public. Why not use his social media presence to clear Chase's name in the first place?
