moving to San Marcus in august...enlighten me on...anything?
The river there is spring fed and the water is in the mid-60's year round. The skatepark is not far from the river. You can go to Sewell park to watch all of the college girls (but not booze) or go to City park and booze it up at the water. It comes in handy with the 100 degree heat that we are already experiencing. The new bowls at that park should be open soon if they are not already.
If Alvin Orde's (sp?) sandwich shop is still around, I used to love that place. There are an obnoxious amount of good looking women at Southwest Texas State. Once upon a time, the ratio was 2:1 women to men. I do not hang out much in San Marcos these days (except to skate/ swim on weekends), but I put in time down there in my 20's.
