I already uploaded over the one I did, but tysj! posted this recently.

How do you do that?
[close]

You start with the right stick straight down (or up for nose(blunt)slides) and slowly move it around in a circle in the direction you want to shove. Right before you get directly to the side (3 oclock or 9 oclock), start swinging the stick faster and bring it around 180. So all in all, the stick moves 270 from the bottom. The guy who explained it to me used the phrase "add a tempo" and it made sense... dunno if it'll help. Either way, it's really hard to do consistently; I can only do it like one in ten tries, but once you do a few they get easier.

thanks man i'll have to try this

1. This isn't a competition.
1.5. Logan's was better anyways.
2. There aren't even any brown cords in the game.
3. Fedora.

Anyone else ever notice your xbox "downloading updates" and it never tells you what it is?

Well I've been noticing in Skate, a lot of pretty decent spots that weren't there before are popping up, it's pretty fuckin sick. Just go to the subburbs, gaze off into the distance and skate towards the construction sites, you can see em' cause there'll be huuuuuge cranes towering over everything, that's where new shit seems to be popping up the most.

Sorry to disappoint, but SKATE has zero downloadable content, and if it did it wouldn't be done automatically like you described.

yeah man, trust me. I've wasted enough of my life "skating" those areas to notice when new shit pops up. I "brought" Peter and BriDen to some of the spots for confirmation in case this stuff had just been overlooked, and it was all new to them.

This is true. I hope they fix that one long ledge so you can do more than 3 tricks on it though.

Here's some more multi-player fun:
http://skate.share.ea.com/profiles/40913/posts/1092263.aspx
http://skate.share.ea.com/profiles/40913/posts/1092265.aspx (Logan pulled a Logan :P)

And have any of you guys tried to hit the Carlsbad replica? You gotta bomb 2 mini hills, carve in, ollie over a sidewalk into a bank, and then try to not hit the ledge, but boy is it fun.

haha I'll get right on that asap, but first, thought I'd upload a MAN's 360

http://skate.share.ea.com/profiles/50686/posts/1096501.aspx

I'd have to disagree with BriDen, though. Not fucking worth it! I had to create an xbox live freeskate session just to cut back the loading time cause you have to push like 6 blocks to do it

There are at least two, but I think three big O replicas in the game.

And I think Logan got some footage tonight. If not, I'll upload some tomorrow.

SKATE 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.ea.com/skate/theater.jsp?mediaID=deuce0514&media=videos

Quote
Recently, EA announced it was working on Skate 2 for PS3 and Xbox 360. And that's about all EA was willing to say about the sequel. However, the official Skate website has several teaser videos. None show gameplay, but two of the videos provide hints on the setup for Skate 2.

According to the videos, five years have passed and San Vanelona is very different place. Shortly after you won Skater of the Year, your character disappeared. No one knows what happened to him, but the skaters of San Vanelona hope he'll come back. And they need you. In the past five years, the cops have cracked down on skaters. Caps were put on rails to make it almost impossible to grind and "No Skating" signs are everywhere.

San Vanelona was once a paradise for skaters. Now it's their worst nightmare.

There's 2 more videos on the playlist to the right once you click the 1st link.  It's pro's explaining the "story" of Skate 2 basically.

I cannot wait for this game.

that's a pretty lame premise

can't they just create a tight new city and add impossibles and no comply's or something like that
