How do you do that?

You start with the right stick straight down (or up for nose(blunt)slides) and slowly move it around in a circle in the direction you want to shove. Right before you get directly to the side (3 oclock or 9 oclock), start swinging the stick faster and bring it around 180. So all in all, the stick moves 270 from the bottom. The guy who explained it to me used the phrase "add a tempo" and it made sense... dunno if it'll help. Either way, it's really hard to do consistently; I can only do it like one in ten tries, but once you do a few they get easier.

Well I've been noticing in Skate, a lot of pretty decent spots that weren't there before are popping up, it's pretty fuckin sick. Just go to the subburbs, gaze off into the distance and skate towards the construction sites, you can see em' cause there'll be huuuuuge cranes towering over everything, that's where new shit seems to be popping up the most.

And have any of you guys tried to hit the Carlsbad replica? You gotta bomb 2 mini hills, carve in, ollie over a sidewalk into a bank, and then try to not hit the ledge, but boy is it fun.

I'd have to disagree with BriDen, though. Not fucking worth it! I had to create an xbox live freeskate session just to cut back the loading time cause you have to push like 6 blocks to do it

Recently, EA announced it was working on Skate 2 for PS3 and Xbox 360. And that's about all EA was willing to say about the sequel. However, the official Skate website has several teaser videos. None show gameplay, but two of the videos provide hints on the setup for Skate 2.

According to the videos, five years have passed and San Vanelona is very different place. Shortly after you won Skater of the Year, your character disappeared. No one knows what happened to him, but the skaters of San Vanelona hope he'll come back. And they need you. In the past five years, the cops have cracked down on skaters. Caps were put on rails to make it almost impossible to grind and "No Skating" signs are everywhere.

San Vanelona was once a paradise for skaters. Now it's their worst nightmare.

I cannot wait for this game.
