Not going to share a berrics video, but watching Deshawn Jordan skunk Cody Cepeda was great.  No spoilers, but he got him on a non-flip trick.

If anybody still cared, I'd call you an asshole for spoiling who won. But I guess you're good for now

The ref was a little biased towards Dashawn, seems like some do-overs were apropos since at least 3 of the letters in a row were sloppy tricks.

Not that I wanted Cepeda to win, he looks like a bummer to skate with.

What's with the shoe/shirt combo, is it part of their contract?

Best part of that was the unimpressed face of that one Cariuma kid that played vs Mike V after the sketch fakie big heel. Guess he's gonna have to do some more courses to up his thetan levels for criticizing fellow Cariuma team members.

He never actually touched the ground though. Doing tricks sloppy is not breaking any rules. He should have redone the back3 though, he even called it himself. If somebody does that, they have to do it again in my opinion

Has there ever been a flatground skater with this much skill but close to zero flick? It's like he just puts his feet in the exact right spots on the board and pops. He's like the anti-Neen.

His flatground looks like Jamie Foy skating rails.  Super wide stance.

It must be- they all do it, either black on black or white on white. I want one to go rogue and mix up colors. Make a statement guys, it’s ok to mix white and black.

lest we forget that he quit a berrics board brand (sovrn) right before turning pro obviously causing a bit of a rift between him and berra. then he is playing skate against someone at berra’s house so to speak who is on a semi berrics footwear brand… obviously the judges aren’t going to be in his favor. he still won though and cariuma still lost so the world is at peace for now  ;)

At least Cody is actually popping his tricks these days, he didn't really go back to the slow and low pivot-heavy thing too much this time around. I don't like him but the batb7 story is pretty rad, real storybook shit.

Dashawn is starting to give me Shane O'Neil vibes. It's insane what he does but he's so fucking perfect and does everything so flawlessly that I kinda zone out after a minute. Bigger flips should not be that easy.

well it was actually the opposite, i believe what OP meant was that there were several tricks that Dashawn did on offense that should've been a redo but were given a thumbs up by the ref. specifically the switch back 3 on the last letter (which Dashawn even motioned for a redo himself) and the fakie big heel (definitely scraped his tail). i don't think it really would've made a difference in the outcome because Dashawn was clearly on and had the upper hand the whole game, but still. after the number of times he's gone on an "okay i'm gonna be around so no one can claim that the judging was off because i'm the supreme objective dictator", definitely feel like Berra shoulda spoken up lol

all that being said, this was a pretty enjoyable game to watch. really like Dashawn's skating tbh, definitely my favorite of the "contest" dudes i think

Exactly, thanks MandatoryReload.

I dunno, I wouldn't want to win letters on sloppy tricks - toe-drag or not.

Especially if I was a top-pro skating against someone whose claim-to-fame was being the winning "Joe" in a game of skate.
