Is Reynolds rocking 480 highs in his newest clip on insta? I cant tell
[close]
Yeah i think so, the white/red 480 hi’s spray-painted black
Yeah definitely this. I got excited for a second that it might've been a sneak peek at something new when I saw that clip but you can see the red sole pretty clearly. I'm skating a pair of them right now and now that I'm getting used to them, they're starting to feel really good.

Skated twice in the 808s now and I really like that shoe. These gonna last forever. Swapped the insoles to even thinner ones so my foot sits slightly lower. Might put the original insoles back when the shoes are more broken in. I didnt feel the shoes weight when walking but skating them I can feel the difference compared to my 440s I skated previously. Nothing that would bother me though. Now I have 3 pairs in stock so gonna take some time to go through all those.  :)

You're setup for the while year

Possibly for even longer since I skated my 440s almost fot the whole last year.  ;D

Was hoping for a black pair but not a fan of the contrast stitching, the white ones are looking reeeeal nice however.

contrast stitching is so nasty, makes it look like some 90s target skecher shoe

Same sentiments here. I'm not a fan of contrast stitching, but white stitching on black fabric looks great, and I think that look peaks on the black/white Half Cabs.

Those both are my favorite colorways of the 440s so far. I love a good contrast stitch. If those were all black with the contrast stitch, I'd probably end up with a pair...

Could've sworn we had some kind of confirmation of a 480 hi in black; not sure if a full blackout but I'm hopeful.

They looked pretty skater waiter but maybe there's a gum sole. Nearly positive the outsole was black.

Almost all blackout but with a gum slice on the very bottom.  I think those are going to come out in May.  We have a few things coming over April/May.

It's like he heard us talking! I'll almost definitely be copping these, they look so good in black.

Also a little funny how the white and red ones dropped during the tail end of winter and the all black ones will be dropping right before summer. Not that I'm complaining about it tho

These are lifestyle 480 Hi's not Numeric ones.  Ours fit better with a little cutout on the heel like a V in the back so it doesn't press on your Achilles.

Please make a Numeric black leather 480 hi and release it in Europe. I don't think I would need any other shoe for the rest of my skateboarding days.

Got some 1010s at the advice of the good homie. Havent skated em yet but man, these are comfortable. My right foot is perma swollen and due to arch injuries, the arch is dropped a bit lower than the L foot. I generally need to wear very flat shoes with minimal insole at the arch- calling blazer mids- but these 1010s may foot the bill. Usually wearing anything remotely like these, my hips and knees cant handle it. 4 days and 8 miles in, i feel good.

Hopefully i can skate in em

I've been on vulcs for a while. Intro to cups were the 440's. Tried the 808's and thats my limit. Skating the 1010's now. Boardfeel wise is a lot better than expected. Flick is not as grabby or grippy than the 440's. Slippery-er for lack of a better or real word. I have to put more foot on the board to get a good flick out of it. The biggest thing for me. Is the break in. The bend of the forefoot when taking it out of the box. It was stiff at first, but nothing like the 808. 808's is like a brick on your foot. I try to push in the 808's and no matter how i tie them they are slipping off my foot. With the 1010's, I would say 2 or 3 sessions to get them broken in and somewhat understand the flick.
We rode 7.5's" and didn't complain.
