Synopsis: Will Smith plays (as far as his character knows) the last man on earth, our hero, Robert Neville, a sole survivor of a world dominating virus created by man, that initially takes out 588 million people in 2009, and was originally created to somehow cure cancer. In 2012, Neville (a former scientist) dedicates his life to surviving for the sake of the human race, since he's somehow immune to the virus and those who have been infected, and attempts to find a cure.

Starring: Will Smith, Alice Braga, Charlie Tahan, Salli Richardson, Willow Smith, Darrell Foster, April Grace, Dash Mihok

doesn't sound too appealing, I know, but it really has a very specific feel to it. Something a lot of movies I saw, before knowing about this thread, lacked. oh yeah, and its a hungarian movie by Nimrod Antal.

When a young woman rejects her current overweight suitor in a restaurant, he unexpectedly places a curse on her. The film then moves on to her sisters. One is a happily married woman with a psychiatrist husband and three kids. Unfortunately the husband develops an unnatural fascination for his 11 year old son's male classmates, fantasizes about mass killing in a park, and masturbates to teen magazines. One of his patients has an unrequited fascination for the third sister. Meanwhile the apparently stable 40 year marriage of the sister's parents suddenly unravels when he decides he has had enough and wants to live a hermit's life in Florida. Obviously, the whole movie is slightly warped in its viewpoint and certainly presents abnormal relationships among all of its parties.

waking life was ill as fuck. as far as clockwork orange goes though i think the key point is how the youth will change on their own. after being brainwashed alex goes back to normal (how the film ends), but in the book the last chapter is devoted to the fact that he grows out of his old ways on his own and wants to be productive.

Yes! The 21st chapter (if I remember right since it's been years since I read it). I have had to explain this to so many people who dissed the movie without reading the book.
