The only company other than Real that I can kinda see is Baker (Shake Junt connection) apart from that Ishod is at the top of the game and so is Real. Makes perfect sense.

I don't know if I agree with the comparison because there are a lot of Michael Jordan's currently in skateboarding, but I don't know that it's too early. Jordan's career with the Bulls was from 84-98, so Ishod's at that halfway point if we're comparing. MJ had been that dude for awhile at the halfway point.

Ishod is one of everyones favorites....but he is far from the undisputed "best" like Jordan.

Real is far from the top of their game, their graphics are consistently awful and most of their new teamriders are homogenous as ever -- seems to me like they're prepping for eventual Olympics inclusion. Would love to see Ishod, Busenitz, a few others bounce but I'm not holding my breath for that.

Back to the topic at hand, I know he turned down a box from them earlier in his career but Rowan seems to be hanging out with the Hockey dudes way more than the Baker dudes...

I don't dislike 5boro but Jordan Trahan is super talented and deserves to be on a company that can really promote him.

For me it's Foy and Deathwish, why would they kick off Moose for him? I get Furby isn't really deashwich and he started Yezzur to maintain his pro status. If you're pro and get booted from your board sponsor, are you still pro? Moose might be lurking in flow/ am waters these days.

I think I was the only one who said that and I took it back after I saw the Taylor Kirby part. Jamie Foy absolutely should be pro though. He's popular and ripping and that's when you turn someone pro so you can move product which is what allows businesses to exist.

While I agree , he just doesn't strike me as a flow to pro in a year kinda guy.

I mean, from a sponsored skaters point of view, Real would be arguably one of the most desirable teams to be pro for. Every pro pretty much has a major shoe contract and that speaks volumes in the industry. Point taken about the graphics, but has real ever been known for that? As far as I can see their whole deal is about making top quality boards, that's it. I think they do this well, I've personally never had a dud real board.

Funny you bring up Jordan, I'm skating one of his boards right now and I agree completely when you say he should be promoted more. The guy fucking kills it. This is coming from a fan of 5boro as well.

If you like DLX boards, go for the 18 they have good graphics and a better team.
