i've been griping big boards horizontally. it's great because you can replace fucked up squares of grip and not the whole sheet.

That's a better idea. I ended up doing it diagonally and then using left overs on the remaining side

Since everyone is doing the mystery box thing lately I decided to bite on the DOA one, I've been skating a Pat Washington 9 lives flat as fuck lately and I love it but sometimes I want a little more of a pocket or steeper kicks and I've been told that the standard SC concave is rather nice. It was my first SC deck and it totally lived up to the reputation of being great wood, so I'm hyped to try the standard concave.

If anyone is interested ScumCo has Pennswood logo decks back in stock for $55 shipped with Mob. I'd recommend getting them now if you want one because the Pennswood ones usually go pretty quick.

Grabbed some weird Busenitz pro with a weird honeycomb thingy thing on the toe. Also some City cups and 3MC which I wanted to try since a long while.

New Bushings after realizing I been on the same ones for 2 years ib different trucks and that's why they weren't sitting right. Got harder bushings and loosened up my trucks.

Also got some 52mm bones stf V3's and ordered a custom deck w/ a picture of me, my GF and the Dog as a possible wall hanger.

I somehow lost the bushings that came with my aces (did a lot of truck experimentation the past couple months). I've been running em with bones mediums but it doesn't feel right so I picked these up to get things back to normal.

Switched to Thunders right after getting hurt and couldn’t skate all summer. I’ve ridden Indy forever and now I realize I need a bigger wheelbase deck and probably some smaller wheels because I’m getting a lot of  and can’t pop. Just hate ordering decks. Wheels are kind of expensive too eh?

IDK, I make a lot of aesthetic choices in my setup. That's why I skate bones bushings. I think slim wheels are more appealing. As far as how they skate. They're the same formula so the feel more or less the same, any nuance caused by changing shape can equally be attributed to me kind of sucking lately.
